I want to give great BIG appreciation for this locksmith shop in Ventura. Michael & Sofia, owners and employee Jose all were beyond helpful with solving a complicated FOB situation with my Toyota. They provided all the answers to what and why of my key problem and had everything there to make it work. This team was relentless for success. Convenient location. Super awesome people - I neglected to check the hours prior to arriving and it was during their closed hours but they happened to be remodeling and they offered to still copy my key because I had my child with me. I super appreciate their assisting me, even though they were technically closed, wonderful people.

UPDATE YOUR HOURS! If you're going to go by different hours, do your potential customers a favor and post that online. It's 2020. The least you can do is make sure your business information on the world's largest search platform is correct and up to date. Google makes it incredibly easy for businesses to make sure their information is correct for potential customers.
So when a business can't even do the smallest thing like update their hours, it clearly means they're not interested in new business, so I guess I'll find another locksmith. Shopping locally shouldn't be this difficult.

Hands down the best locksmiths I have ever dealt with. Brought them the rear hatch lock off my 1990 Dodge ramcharger that I didn't have the key for. They cut out a key according to the code the lock called for. It didn't work. So they investigated further. They Disassembled the lock (which on this truck it doubles as a trim piece, so very difficult to do and not damage it), found out it was a broken pin.
They saved me $200 on having to buy a new lock. Fixed it and gave me a set of keys. Outstanding customer service. Most locksmiths wouldn't have even gone that far. The only locksmith I will ever deal with from now on.

Big Kudos for the quality of service. Lost the keys tto a rusted lock on my trailer hitch. Dropped in without a appointment. After attending to a few customers ahead of me, they did some serious work to get the lock removed with no damage to my truck. And a great price for the service. Added them to my contacts. I recently had our home re-keyed by Plaza Locksmith. I found them very easy to work with. The locksmith showed up on time and had the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Later that day I noticed that the front deadbolt was a little difficult to operate. I called Plaza and they promptly had the locksmith out to remedy the problem ( caused by a slightly misaligned door). I was very happy with their service

I needed a key for my Honda. Turns out it was a very special key that no one in the area could deal with EXCEPT Honda and my new friends at Plaza. Every other Honda key would cost about $225 from Honda, but this one was almost $500. And Honda couldn't deal with it for hours. Plaza did it in the time it took for a cup of coffee and they did it for $225. The service was fast, friendly and priced right. Actually, better than right.

Yesterday, I called Plaza Locksmith to inquire about having the deadbolt on our front door adjusted. The woman I spoke to on the telephone was very nice and made arrangements for the technician to come out. The technician was very helpful and very efficient. I was especially pleased because he understood the situation and went the extra step to explain the issue and also to help solve a side issue involving unlocking the deadbolt. I would definitely call Plaza Locksmith if I need any further help with locks or keys.

Cool place--especially on a warm day in Ventura because they blast the AC in there. I love it. Anyway, the guy at the front was chill, though a bit in the cranky side. He was nice enough but he seemed a bit annoyed with me when I couldn't get the keys that I wanted to copy off my key ring. He told me I didn't need to that and to just tell him which keys on the ring I wanted to do. His assistant came and and finished and completed my set of rings in probably about 5 minutes. No frills, no need to wait. Just do it and get your keys copied

After several failed attempts to find the right lock and guidance at places like Lowes and Home Depot I decided to go to "people who know". And I found Plaza Locksmith. Very small facilities but you will be amazed at the inventory and breath of merchandise. The best part was the service from the owner's wife.
She knew exactly what I needed, had it on hand, and gave me the what and how to's for installation. All this at a reasonable price.a bit more that the Lowes and Home Depot locks, but like she said."we sell quality not cheap". I don't think you can go wrong if you invest your time and money here.

I paid a LOT of money for a car key to be made here, and it fell apart after a week. ONE WEEK. The buttons all fell out. I brought the key back for a refund and they said no, they would fix it up to a year but no returns. So they fixed it, but just looking at it now it's so janky - one of the buttons is permanently halfway pressed in. I should have gone to the dealership and paid the extra $50. Now I'm out my $263. Lesson learned.

I went to Plaza locksmith today because I recently bought a used car and the dealer gave me only one key, and it was not the master key. I needed another key programmed to my car and I needed some restrictions and settings stored on my current key cleared off. The dealer quoted me over $500 to reset the existing key and issue me a new one. As soon as I walked in, the service was knowledgeable and friendly.
The owners (I'm assuming I wish I got their names) could not have been friendlier and rather than try to upsell me, they worked to find me the most affordable solution. I saved almost $400 with Plaza Locksmith and I highly recommend them.
