Very thankful to find this locksmith company, I went to a home depot and a couple other locksmith companies and they were not able to duplicate my keys. However, this store made it extremely easy to replicate my keys in a professional manner.

This is an actual locksmith shop, you can walk into. They were able to copy keys those kiosk machines can not. 5 stars.

I called American lock and key because I locked myself out of the house, Chanel helped me out over the phone and scheduled for a tech to come. Immediately he arrived so quick I was shocked that he got me in within minutes no damage at all not even a mark such reasonable pricing thank you so much. So thankful for Chanel, she was able to calm me down and provide me great service during this unfortunate experience I had.

I am all about trust and honesty. They snuck in extra $ on my bill for 'labor'. Felt very dishonest.

Jamie was super friendly and kind. I had a car key done in about 15 min. Fast! Jamie offered to transfer the "brain" from the old key and I wish I did, ha! I recommend this place.

I came into their shop with a lock that I lost the key for. And they looked at the lock and they were able to make a key for it right away! They knew exactly what key was needed. They did it so fast and it works perfectly! They were so nice too. Overall it's a great place! I will definitely recommend to anyone.

Came to the store to duplicate a key for my Honda Pilot. Was told by the dealer that it's a special key with a chip and only they would be able to duplicate it, but wanted to charge over $200 for the key and programming. Stopped at the store and was told by the gentleman behind the counter that he can do it, and the price that he quoted was less then half of the dealer's price. I was a bit skeptical, but decided to give it a shot. 15 minutes later I got my brand new duplicated key. I am glad I found these guys. I recommend.

My sister was unable to open her front door this evening. It was 11:00pm. Since I used their services previously and was very happy with them, I phoned LA Locksmiths. A technician answered the phone & said he would be right over. He arrived a few minutes later & worked for two hours replacing the 35-year-old doorknob and also added a double deadbolt lock which had to be custom fitted to a double door.

The installation required more skill than usual because both doors had play in them from numerous earthquakes and 35 years of wear & tear. After several adjustments, both doors were rock solid when the work was completed. The technician made sure both of us were able to use the locks on the doorknob and the deadbolt, before leaving at 1:00am. Do yourself a favor. Call LA Locksmiths. You'll be very glad you did!

I was locked out of my brand new Ford Fusion and I needed it opened it up ASAP to get to class. The time was 6:30 AM and I was in a big rush. I looked everywhere and LA Locksmith were the only ones who picked up the phone at such an early time. The technician, Sam, showed up after 10 minutes and opened my car in no time!. Thankfully, I got to class on time and ended up getting 100% on my Chemistry test. THANK YOU LA LOCKSMITH!

I was locked out of my house and I needed a locksmith. I called LA Locksmith after reading the reviews on Yelp and I am glad I did. They showed up at my house in 30 minutes, and the price was very reasonable. They were nice, professional, and very friendly. I highly recommend them!

Needed the locks changed ASAP since we had a key go missing. Did a quick Yelp search and found LA Locksmiths. Pleased they got good reviews, so I called. They were available to come out within a couple hours. Arrived on time. Doron was nice and helpful. Service was quick and easy. The price was the only thing I wasn't prepared for. the quote over the phone seemed reasonable and then the actual invoice was nearly double that!

Overall the service was super but I wasn't prepared for the price. But when you need the locks changed in a jiffy, perhaps you pay more for the quick and friendly service for a job well done.

Arrived on time, locksmith did a great job putting in a new lock quickly and professionally. I have used the company many times before when I bought a safe from them which they installed, buying and getting keys cut etc. They have been in the neighborhood for over 20 years (aka American Lock and Key). Maybe not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Life Savers! My car was running and I locked the door. It was freezing outside. I called 3 other companies and no one answered. I was sure I was out of luck. Finally I called LA Locksmiths and not only did they answer right away but they sent a technician out immediately and I was in my car in no time. Thank you guys!

I called a few other companies to un lock my front door. Some didn't answer, and others barely spoke English! Luckily, I found LA locksmith. They were fluent in English and very affordable! Arrived within minutes and got me in my house. They were professional an didn't try to sell me any other services!

As good as it gets! Great service! Due to new safety regulations we had to turn one of the rooms at the office into a "safe room", meaning that in case of emergency this room would be locked and it would be inaccessible from outside. We called several locksmiths to get an idea on how to go about it and to get some estimates. Nothing sounded reasonable. Then, luckily, I called Nir and the next day we had our "safe room" ready!

He knew exactly what we needed. He came in on time, was super efficient, professional and friendly. We are very happy with Nir's service and will definitely use him again!

HORRIBLE!! I was locked out of my apartment at 10pm on Friday. I called and a guy with a really thick accent answered with kids screaming in the background and he told me they wouldn't come out without my credit card number. I told him I wasn't comfortable giving that out over the phone, so he said fine and got my address. I waited 60 minutes overall (I called twice while I was waiting and the same guy told me the locksmith was close each time).

When I finally got fed up and called to cancel, the guy said very smugly (no joke) "Remember when you said you wouldn't give me your credit card number? That's why I didn't send anyone out."

He left a single woman sitting alone at night because he was annoyed that I wasn't comfortable giving information over the phone. I honestly was scared they were going to come break into my house after that because what kind of company behaves like that? I'm filing a formal complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau.
