Artery Lock Service

We needed a locksmith to replace some locks, and made an appointment for the next week. Because we only got a 12-4pm block, I called at the day of the appointment to ask if they could be more precise (both me and my wife have full time jobs), but they couldn't. But then the locksmith who was going to help us did give me a call around 1pm to say that he'd be late because he had some other jobs to do first.

Then he never showed up. Three days later I called to ask what happened, and they didn't really know, but they said that it could have been that the locksmith had had an accident. If that was in fact the reason, it is of course totally understandable that the locksmith didn't show up, but I think it can be expected if something like that happens that the company calls the customer the next day to explain what happened and make another appointment.

My mother's tenant had an issue with the doorknob, so I called Artery Lock on a Tuesday. They scheduled a visit on Friday and fixed the issue. As promised they called when they were 20 minutes away so I could give the tenant a heads up. I'm happy to have found a reliable lock company with pleasant employees. Thanks Artery!

She was so helpful and on time, fixed a problem with ease that another company told us couldn't be fixed. Definitely would recommend

We needed to have mortise locks installed as part of a renovation of an old house for pocket doors. My contractor didn't have the machine for this installation, and a locksmith recommended Artery Lock Service. David (owner) came to do the install, and they look great. Awesome guy saved me and was able to duplicate my 1 & only car key which was bent and nobody else could. Sorry, forgot his name but will never go anywhere else again. Thank you

Artery was a choice of our management company, but we never regret that choice. They did an excellent job fixing the building locks and making new keys. Don't remember the name of the technician, unfortunately. When we needed extra keys, I called and ordered, yet there was some mishap with the order location. I had little time to wait and was very nervous as I was late for my work shift already. Alex took a lead, dropped everything and turned to my problem completely.

He reassured me that he will do my keys within 15 min or less, and he really did! Excellent service, excellent people. I regret I was too harsh with them, but they were nice, kind and professional. Highly recommending the place!

David does quality work! We use Artery for any work in the Greater Boston Area requiring electric strikes, mag-locks, etc. He's knowledgeable, hard working, and his work is top notch.

Called and talked to Jill. Explained the issue I had and the fact that my family was working through a tragedy and needed locks changed ASAP. She got Chris out on Thursday and he was a true gentleman. Treated my parents with dignity and respect. He did a tremendous job on what we needed done. He did the job quickly and with care and precision. I would use ARTERY lock for everything YOU need done. I'll also send a follow up to make sure everything continues to work properly for my parents.

Artery helped me out a year ago when I lived in Medford and needed my lock changed after my roommate moved out - they were there in a few hours and did a perfect job. Now I'm in Wilmington and the deadbolt on my front door wasn't aligned correctly, it took 2 hands to unlock the door (one to turn the key on the deadbolt, one to pull on the doorknob) which was getting to be a pain so I called Artery. They were there on time and did a fabulous job, even down to cleaning up. I can now open my door with one hand! Highly recommend.

I wrote a horrible review a couple days ago bc I had the worst experience with the sales person who sold me my system. It never worked. I received a call from the "nicest" employee today and was so patient and fixed the issues for 2 years worth of problems. I found out the sales person who sold me the system left ( and even though he gave me the wrong "box") the person today got it working.

I am hoping what the person did today fixed it for good. Chris is amazing, kind, respectful and a great representative of what service should be. I am just hoping that it still works in a month :-) will keep you posted if I continue to have issues.

Won't deal with any other lock smith my father and grandfather only dealt with them as well

Even when going into this establishment I know ahead of time I'll will receive top shelf customer service, but still blows me away on just how friendly Everyone is. Yes even Jill. LOL Teasing you Jill. They helped me program some keys/remotes for our car. They let my Grandson use the bathroom and allowed my dog to hang out while keys were grinding.

The Home/Office security technology options are endless. Sure I could of gone to a big box store and saved fifty on a system, but then who would I turn to with questions AND receive World Class customer service? Answer is no one. I have used artery lock to fix some lock at my church in Cambridge. I gave 5 because that's what they are. A five star business.and I plan on using them again in March to do some more work for my church

Had a great experience with Artery Lock Service getting locks from our new home re-keyed. They were flexible with scheduling and came right at the start of the 3 hour window. Lance was our technician, and not only did he re-key three locks in about thirty minutes, but he also repaired two doors to fix issues with a deadbolt sticking and with a latch not catching in the frame, for no extra charge! Would definitely recommend Artery to friends and will use them for future lock services.

What a great local small business (3 generations in Massachusetts). We called them a day ahead to chat and discuss our lock needs. George was fabulous and very patient over the phone. On the actual day, we went to the shop to meet DJ who helped us select the locks and keys. George came by to install our locks. I highly recommend their services.

This service came recommended to me and they were fantastic! When I called to get a quote for re-keying locks in my new condo, they were very courteous and friendly on the phone and gave me a quote that was over $100 cheaper than another service I had called. The locksmith, Chris, arrived within the time frame that they quoted me and was polite, friendly, and seemed to really know and care for his craft!

I could tell that he took pride in his work and I'm thrilled with the end-result. I would definitely recommend them and I would use them again, although I hope I don't need to do so!

I needed lock service for a broken cylinder. I had been recommended Artery by a family member. They came when promised, did the job effectively and efficiently and were reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to use Artery again for any lock repairs and will definitely recommend them to friends.

Just the best service. Locksmith Lance repaired a lock at my elderly aunt's home. Very professional. He took the time to explain everything he did to her, then called me to ensure I also knew about the repair. Great employee.

DON'T USE THEM! Out of requirement of our building we have our door & mailbox lock change here, WORST service EVEN! We book an appointment for Wednesday afternoon they said it'll cost $70, the guy call Wednesday morning and left me voicemail that he can only do it in the morning, when i finally call him back at 11am he said he can't do afternoon and i must reschedule, so i did for today morning only.

Today he call around 11:30am and ask if he can come now, we have been waiting for him since 9am, so we told him to come by at 12:30. He arrived at 2:15pm and break our mailbox lock without calling us first and have the gut to charge us for breaking the lock when he should have call us downstairs to open the mailbox then he doesn't need to break it! Now we have a bill of $110, an extra $40! NEVER USE THEM, TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS TOO!

David and his team at Artery Lock are fantastic! They are professional, courteous, and timely. Unlike other locksmiths in the area that I will leave unnamed they are more committed to serve you than the bottom line. I highly recommend them.

I've used another well rated locksmith in the Cambridge area (won't name names) but Artery's service was miles better. I wanted high security locks installed for my apartment and the price of the install in addition to the cost of the locks was very reasonable. I can say I highly recommend their service. They did a free consultation and let me know what the cost of what I wanted would be and then the next day they installed everything exactly how I asked.

They also took the time needed to do the install right and did not rush the job or leave things half finished. I highly recommend them and huge thanks to Christopher who is very thorough and professional and took the time to go through different options and left things looking great. Thanks again! ps: even though these guys don't come up in the Somerville / Cambridge search results, I think they are potentially the best people who service these areas.

These guys are excellent. Over the phone they explain exactly what they can do, what they will need to change, and the different options you will have. The gentleman who came to the house was incredibly nice. He got 4 doors changed out (including a new lock set that needed to be fit and fixing a lock set that is ~90 years old) in less than an hour. The charges were exactly what they said they'd be over the phone.

These guys are good. Pricey for a house call. But good at what they do. Home Depot needs to change their cartridges as no key that comes out of there will work. I've had to return bags and bags of keys to them. Artery is great!

Love this place. After constantly having issues with keys cut at Home Depot, decided to let the pro's handle it. Always in and out quickly and the keys never fail. Just recently had to have a lock rekeyed, and they took care of it quickly and for a very good price. Any time I need any lock related service, I will definitely look to Artery Lock first!

I'm handle a lot of property management contracts and need keys cut and re-keyed all the time. Just took on a project in Medford and after a couple failed attempts at getting some keys copied at a smaller store on Salem St. I found Artery. I was in and out their door in 5 minutes with a new set of keys. Just the way it should be. Its a big locksmith and you can tell the staff knows there stuff. I'll be using them again.
