Sure Lock and Key was established in 1964 by the Surkamp family and has been family owned and operated in the Kirkwood area ever since. In the early 1990's it was purchased by Kevin and Marti Grubb. Kevin is a highly experienced locksmith with over 33 years of experience and Marti has over 30 years of customer service experience.

Called after getting an outrageous quote to replace the thumb turn for my business door. Not only did the agent on the phone know exactly what I needed right away from my rough description, they quoted me both parts and labor up front. Tom was professional and fast, fixing everything before I could even meet with him as I was on the phone with an important vendor. The "competitive" quote I got elsewhere of $550 was blown away by the $115 I paid here. I would and will recommend this place to everyone I know.

They are disrespectful pos's. My aunt brought her car in and they ended up messing up her ignition. Instead of apologizing and eating the cost of their mistake they decided to add on the cost to her bill. When she said something the guy at the counter threatened her and said that if she was a guy he would jump over the counter and punch her in the face.

If your car key fob battery needs replaced and the screw is too tight for you to do it easily yourself, go to Sure Lock & Key without delay. I was shocked how inexpensive it was, and I wasted so much time and money trying to loosen that darn screw myself. I almost look forward to my next car key fob battery failure now.
