I think this company must have changed their Yelp profile or name or something, because I can't find the same listing as when I originally called them a month ago. Seems shady. Anyway, the guy who came out came promptly and was done quickly, which is great. However, what started as a $45 service call, which seemed reasonable, turned into $480!
For 45 minutes of work! The worst part was the lock pick that cost $95 and was done before I even turned around. $95. Unbelievable. They may try to say it's great service, but it's certainly not worth the price. Obviously I had the same experience as the other reviewer.

I discovered {Your Locksmith} through Home Advisor. I had the pleasure of scheduling an appointment Friday, March 15th, 2013. When the representative arrived he wasted no time & replaced the lock within 10 minutes. As I have stated in my previous reviews: If you want no-nonsense & no baloney service this is the locksmith to call. End of story. Thank you so very much Your Locksmith! Regards, Faustina Beninato

I called this locksmith for my friend who had just locked herself out of her apt. She just locked the handle, not the deadbolt. I called and the guy seemed nice enough said that it would be $39 for coming out and depending on what type of lock it was, he would charge based on how hard it is to get the door unlocked. They guy came quickly (within 10 minutes) and it took him all of 3 minutes to get the door unlocked.
When he said $140 to my friend she broke down. How could it possible cost $101 to get the brand new construction door lock open - one that took him only 3 minutes to do? No thanks. So he ended up charging her $100 because he "felt bad". We should have gone with the $80 flat fee guy at Dependable Locksmith. Now we know and you know.
