Went to 6 places (ace, home depot, and other locksmiths) & finally found a place where they made my key. in and out in 2 minutes. they made it so easy

Good service, good price, and a wonderful store! I had the keys copied in another store but the keys were not worked. So I am very happy to find this store and will come back if I need.

Had a mail key break in half. Brought it in and was immediately greeted. I had a new mail key within 5 minutes. They said if it didn't work to come back but it worked perfectly! They saved me the anguish of calling a locksmith. I would highly recommend. Also as a bonus-they have a dog. Gotta love a local business that brings their dog to the store!

About 6 years ago I had Ashland Locks come and replace all the deadbolts and doorknobs on my exterior doors. They were easy to work with. I was provided details on the levels of locks and they helped me determine which level was right for me. I had an issue with one lock this year. Pulled the lock off the door and they had it fixed in about 20 minutes. Very happy with the service from them.

Paul was very helpful in swapping out the keyway to Schlage. They had the part in stock and he was also able to entertain my daughter who enjoyed a visit to the locksmith. Pricing seemed reasonable as well.

Unprofessional and posts pictures of clients vehicles for laughed and ridicules. Then has reviews removed when the customer posts against his professionalism. How about before removing this post on the word of the "locksmith" actually consider the validity of the review. Doing otherwise is biased and calls authenticity of reviews into question. Yeah the three reviews removed a couple days ago.

They always get me out of any jam and are really friendly, economical, and just honest about what can be done with lock cylinders and keys that need to be fitted for such. Thank you very much!

First of all I have to say this was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a lock company and will be the only ones we call and recommend from now on. We are a 3 condo building and we had multiple issues ranging from locks/strikes to intercoms. We first called Mega Lock (you can read that review under their name, worst customer service ever) and when that did not work out we called Ashland lock.

The person who answered the phone was fantastic and listened to my list of needs and he said he would make sure to send a technician who can do both locks and intercoms. And he definitely send the right person in Tristin, He was professional and knowledgeable. He addressed all our issues one by one. He even spent more time then was necessary to try and repair the existing but in the end it was best to replace or rekey.

He really tried to get one of our locks to work but eventually changed it out to new which was the right solution. Very conscientious and a pleasure to work with. The end result was all of our issues were resolved and have been working beautifully since. I highly recommend this company if you have any lock or intercom issues, ask for Tristin, he is the best.

Awesome locksmiths! I've never had to take back a key. They have also re-keyed several locks for me and they work flawlessly. The employees can be a little grumpy but they get the job done right, so who cares.

Being an avid DIYer, i brought a broken second-hand security-storm-door lock into Ashland Lock in hopes of gaining some clue on how it works. Shop Manager, Joe Gruber, went above and beyond by not only showing me how it works but also what would be needed to get it to work, which in part required a quick in-shop servicing. A genuinely great guy, very generous with his time and expertise. Once home, i installed the lock and made adjustments as instructed and it now works as good as new. Real pros. This is a reliable, no nonsense locksmith. They have all the products you might need for your own security solutions and helpful advise. Keys cut properly and work as they should-guaranteed if they don't. They'll tell you up front before cutting keys what they'll cost and if there are any other options. He even put the keys on a ring in the same order that they were on, on my original key set. Great quality shop.

Quick and efficient service. Offered different options of key types to copy to & most importantly, all 6 keys worked the first time! Convenient hours & location. Definitely my go-to for key coping from now on!

From the initial phone contact to the installation, Ashland Lock & Security were professional, easy to deal with. We set up a service call in less than a 10 minute convo. The service rep who diagnosed and fixed the issue ( Steve ) was a straight shooter who worked both professionally and expeditiously to install a new lock. What could be easier?

Mike from Ashland Lock installed two smart locks for me last October -- I'm in an old building with old doors that have all sorts of problems, and Mike installed my locks quickly and professionally. He also fixed a small handful of problems with worn-out spindles and other janky-old-door things. He also keyed the smart locks so that one key worked on everything.

I got myself locked *inside* the house yesterday morning (just the front door), and I called Ashland Lock again. They sent Mike back over this morning, who fixed the problem, made sure it could never happen again, and didn't charge me. Hire Mike at Ashland Lock!

Highly recommend. Fast service, straightforward pricing, and friendly, competent technicians. Easily scheduled the appointment and the technician showed up as promised, calling just before arriving to give me a heads up. Quickly assessed the issue with our garage door and fixed it with in a few minutes.

This business hours says open till 5:00 I got to this place at 4:50 and a guy came to the door and said they were closed so heads up be there at 4:00 if you expect to get service from this business

The work was completed over two visits since Ashland Lock handle needed replacement parts to be ordered. Both technicians were very polite and friendly. They worked quietly and quickly as I was also handling work from home. Both jobs took less than 1 hr to complete and they cleaned up any messes they made before they left.

Best Old school locksmith in the city. 50 year family business. Get your keys copied by Joe just for the simple, elegant transaction.

Quick and friendly service! Great prices, too! In and out in 5 minutes! Accepts cash or card - no preference and no minimum amount, which was nice seeing as they are a local business & many have a min. $ for cards.

I have never written a review for a locksmith company, but I had to go out of my way for this one. I went here because my building uses them, and I just needed a couple of spare keys made. I didn't catch his name, but the guy who helped me was super helpful and nice. What really made this experience 5+ stars is that I was greeted by Calvin and Cindy. How cute are they?

These guys define customer service and knowledge about their product. Friendly and quick service and explained everything they were doing when I brought an old cylinder in to be replaced and keyed alike. You can tell that they know their stuff and care about their customers. It's funny to say, but I can't wait to have another problem with my locks again so I can come to Ashland Lock again.

The Mikes save the day! When my client's sometimes-sticky patio door handle malfunctioned, locking his dog outside, he had to remove it to get pup back inside. That left him with a semi-functioning door for months, because he didn't know who to call to repair it. When he heard that another unit in the building had the same issue, he was directed to Ashland. Mike K arranged for his guy to meet me right after the neighbor got his door fixed.

When he arrived, Mike E explained that he had been back & forth with the neighboring unit, figuring out these patio doors, ordering ultimately unnecessary parts & discovering what the real issue was. Apparently all the doors in the building are the same age, & with similar wear & tear, these same issues are popping up. They've even gotten calls from people, locked out onto their own balconies!

And have had to get the doorman to let them in the unit! Mike E showed me exactly what the problem was, and fixed it quickly. He was also super detailed, cleaning up drips after his sprays of magic fixing stuff. All within the window of appointment time originally promised. Perfect. If you have problems with a door handle like the one in this picture, give them a call asap.

Even if it's just starting to get a little sticky - bc that's where it starts! Or, make sure someone has a copy of your front door key - and take your phone with you out onto your balcony. Thanks Mikes!

Getting locked out of your house is a pretty stressful situation, but getting locked out of your garage is a Andrew Jarecki-interviewing-Robert-Durst stressful situation. Thankfully this kid named David came to my rescue and was able to not only pick the emergency lock on my garage door in minutes, but he also made me a key copy so I don't have to worry about it again moving forward.

He was there in a flash and this wiz kid far surpassed what I was expecting him to do. The staff at Ashland Lock is incredibly friendly, professional, and understanding. Similar to Peter Piper I'd recommend Joe (Store Manager) Anne, (Owner) and David to anyone in a pickle or lock that needs to be picked.

I have never been so insulted by one individual. David Crawford is honestly the worst person I've ever had to deal with in my entire life. He has the attitude of a child and somehow he gets away with it! Its clear that the owner knows how much of a jerk this guy is yet he still continues treating his customers like they are unimportant. Go read the other yelp reviews about him!

I will admit to being a bit rude and in a hurry with him but that is no excuse for me to call me a bi**h to my face! How can anyone allow him to continue like this! Dave has the mindset that you are not worth his time and he's unwilling to help you if there is not something in it for him, news flash, it's your job! My house and been burglarized and I came to get some help.

I was the only customer there and I could see him sitting At his desk on his phone, he told me "I'll be right with you" and I waited a good 3 minutes for him to get up. I told him about the break in and showed him a few pictures, he couldn't have seemed less interested because he kept looking at his phone! In the middle of our conversation he beguine to do push-ups, telling me he's still listening. Bottom line, If you go to AshlandLock and you see him coming to help you tell him you will wait for someone who is complainant and that cares!
