Got a replacement key fob and had it programmed here, cheaper that the dealer. The employees are friendly, quick, knowledgeable and funny! I like looking around at the floor safes (wishing that I had one) when I'm there.

Needed an RV key. Only place to get it copied. Knowledgable and friendly.

We have used Berkeley Locksmith several times over the years for both business and personal. This time we needed a new remote key for our car. We phoned and Willie said he had them in stock and cut the key and programmed it at a more reasonable price than the dealership. Anytime we have a need for a Locksmith we always call Berkeley!

I initially left a 5 star review, but now I have to change it to 1. Very unprofessional and complete lack of communication. They were out here OVER 3 weeks ago to quote me on some work, but never sent me a quote despite multiple phone calls asking for one, I was always told that they would send me the quote "later today". I finally went with another company that got it all done in one visit. Yes, they were more expensive, but they actually got the work done.

I spoke to the owner today and he stated that he never sent over a quote because he didn't have the part he needed and the part just came in today. He said there was "no point" in contacting me to tell me that he didn't have the part and of course blamed COVID for the delay. If only he had COMMUNICATED, he would still have my business.

Highly recommended, the owner really knows his stuff. Got a chip key made for about half the cost of other smith

I recently had Casey from Berkeley Locksmith come to my house to replace keys/locks so one key will open all doors in my house. I was tired of having miscellaneous keys for different doors. Not only was Casey professional and on-time, but he we well above my expectations to make certain I was 100% satisfied. I would definitely recommend them for any of your locksmith needs!

I mean honestly I needed a special key and they had that key. They went above and beyond to make me a key that was already broken and their level of expertise was able to remake a broken key so I am very happy about that. My issue is that one key cost over $35. I think that is rather expensive for a small key that goes to a safe. Yes one single key cost $37 which to me seems like robbery. There is my complaint but I will say the key opens the safe so not much else I can say.

After running around town looking to make duplicate keys, Berkeley Locksmith was the only place that had correct blanks to make a copy! Do yourself a favor and just go here for all your key making needs!

We had another company try to get off a locked gas cap from a car to which we had lost the gas cap key from. The guy couldn't do it and said it would have to be drilled. Then we called Berkeley Locksmith and Steven came out to Moncks Corner, and had the gas cap off in a matter of minutes! Highly recommend Steven! HOWEVER, when we dropped the same gas cap off another morning to get a key cut and came back at closing time, they STILL hadn't gotten to it! Very disappointed.

If I could give it his business a no star rating I would. The staff was excellent, but the service was terrible! I bought an expensive lock left it to be keyed, was given an appointment for the lock to be installed. The person never came, didn't call. When I called to inquire, I was given the runaround! I called close to closing time, I was hung up on.

Never a call back with an explanation, nothing! 11/4/19 UPDATE: I disputed the charge on my credit for the cost of the lock that I DO NOT have because I left it at the Berkeley Locksmith store to be keyed, at I might add $20 per key. They do not want to give me back my money, which is over $200.

Was cheaper and quicker than the others to open my car door, but couldn't make an extra key because the technician didn't have the capability with it having a chip in it

I haven't used their services but one of their employees almost hit my car by pulling out in front of me and then proceeded to yell at me like it was my fault. So if you want A company that harasses women for no reason this is it for you.

Excellent service! They did what the dealership could not and only charged me one tenth of the price! I recommend them to everyone!

Went to place locking to get a key fob and the owner is a rude and arrogant and very over price and not will to listen to what you have to say. I would never buy or recommand anybody here

We were locked out of our house. We called berekely locksmith. Service was good. They arrived within 25 minutes and took about 15 to unlock the door. Overall good experience but it cost is $75! I was expecting around $50, so price is steep, but we had to get the door unlocked.

It was 8:47 pm tonight when I got home. My afternoon turn to crap after dealing with Berkeley Locksmith. After they didn't have my locks ready 3 hrs after they said they would, they offered to deliver them to one of my rentals in the time it would take to go pick my kids up from school. Needless to say, they didnt. I waited with two kids in a hot mobile home for an hour and a half before I called to complain. Talked to the owner Willie who assured me there must be some mistake bc his guy should have been there by now.

His guy calls me, tells me he has been stuck in traffic the whole time. Btw, they are located about 3 miles from where I'm located.so I tell the guy he's got 15 mins before I leave bc he could have walked to me faster and I need to go, I then hang up. He gets there 10 mins later, rolls down his window, then YELLS at me and says, I'm doing you a f******* favor so you better watch it.ended up calling another locksmith and now I'm finally home.

Thank you Berkeley Locksmith for the craptastic service, keeping my locks, and for having to deal with the stupidity of your employee. Oh, and let's not forget, I also thank them for costing me $200.00 for new locks after hours on a Friday night plus another 4 hours of my life I will never get back.

Great company with great people. Had a vehicle emergency on the 4th of July where we couldn't start the car and all the other locksmith's were closed or off duty. LUKE from Berkeley was there within an hour and completely fixed the problem for a very fair and reasonable price. He was fast, pleasant and very knowledgeable. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat!

I couldn't be happier. We bought a piece of equipment at auction that didn't come with the ignition key. I searched Google for the closest locksmith and called Berkeley Locksmith this morning. They asked me to email a photo of the lock and I sent it right off. A short while later they called back saying they would send a guy ASAP. He was here in 20 minutes, removed a broken key from inside the lock (that I had no idea was even in there), made a new key from scratch and he was done and on his way in less than 10 minutes.

Words cannot express how these wonderful guys and establishment has saved me. My remote key broke in my ignition I got the key out but the dealer quoted me like $400.00 bucks. To get me a new key and I had to reprogram my car. I called this place and they got me a new key that works for $54.00 bucks out the door. Great service and very knowledgable establishment. They DEFINTELY know what there doing. I can't thank you enough!

We found ourselves in need of a mobile locksmith the other day while in Charleston. We had a situation where someone inadvertently took the "main keys" for the car all the way back to Charlotte before we realized the keys were missing. As a result, we had only a "spare" that would unlock the doors & trunk, but would not start the engine. We called AAA for assistance, and they did not have a mobile locksmith on contract in the area. However, they called around and found Berkeley, who was able to come out and assist us at around 7 pm on a Saturday evening.

The guy who came out was friendly and professional. He took the time to make sure everything was working properly. He did an excellent job for us and we were very pleased with the service!
