I write in reply to Javier. My name is Mike and I am the technician who took your call, to open your girl friend's car. It was after 1 AM and you were whispering so softly you were hard to understand. The car was not yours and you never gave me your friend's name, asking over and over again how quiet we were opening a car. I begin to wonder if I was being asked to commit a crime - I don't open cars or homes for anyone, only for the owners and only after I know the name of the owner and have checked a picture ID. Also, at that late hour when asked to open a vehicle or make a car key, I always ask if alcohol is involved - a bartender can and should cut off a customer when the patron has had enough, I must be assured I'm not putting an impaired driver on the road - if I don't have a legal responsibility I certainly have a moral one.

At that hour I have the right to know I am walking in to a safe situation, and all my questions were appropriate. The customer wouldn't identify the car's owner or put her on the phone, he evaded answering my questions, shouted at me when I asked if they had been drinking, and hung up on me, terminating the call. I am aware of the YELP guideline I should not write a review of my company, but if a customer can write a review of me then surely I can tell my side. Turnabout is fair play.

My experience with this company was horrendous. The amount of attitude and disrespect that was given to me alongside my girlfriend was unbelievable and very unprofessional. My girl made a common mistake in which she left her car keys in her car at around 1 am not to mention she has work at 2:30 am and she needs to travel with it. We made a call to this company in WHICH THEY CLAIM TO BE 24 HRS.

Once they got on the line, they immediately gave us attitude and told us they were sleeping. Once we got a call back from the other guy, he made a very ignorant remark asking if we were drunk because we simply asked if he was going to be loud because our neighbors are sleeping and we don't want to be a bother. I am extremely disappointed that a company can be extremely unprofessional and bitter.

Extremely rude and will much rather do business with other locksmith. Im disgusted by these people and i will never recommend anyone to do business with them.

Professional and efficient! Called this company to change all the locks for our home after a break-in. The locksmith (Bob) came out as scheduled, was straightforward and personable, and performed the job quickly and professionally. We had one lock which required a replacement part, and Bob went far beyond the requirements of the job to not only hunt down that part, but to then come back and install it for us. I would highly recommend Bob, and thus the company, and would call them again in a heartbeat if needed.

This company is excellent. They made it easy to schedule an appointment and arrived on time. Our locksmith (Bob) was great and very friendly. And they made sure we were 100% satisfied with the work (installing a new deadbolt and Nest lock). I highly recommend A Lock and Key.

Just locked myself out of my house on a cold Sunday evening. A Lock and Key was great! They were polite on the phone and fast to call me back and give me an ETA. The service was fast and professional. They made sure I was the owner of the house and were so nice. I hope I never lock myself out again, but if I do, they will be the first place I call! They were my saviors tonight!
