Excellent pricing and superb customer service! I thought I was at a loss when my ignition key broke in half for my vehicle. I stopped in here expecting to pay big money. They reassured me they'll be able to use the old microchip sleeve and rekey it. Under $20 and I was on my way! Took about 15minutes and they even have complimentary coffee and candy while you wait. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommending this business to friends and family. A+++

Hidden gem of Mundelein for your keys, safes and locks. Had keys made and staff is always courteous and professional. Had an issue with lost safe key and they asked me to send picture of safe to provide pricing. Upon sending, they recognized my product and directed me to manufacturer for a FREE key replacement. Would have been okay paying for key, but free is always good. Thank you MGN!

I have been trying to get a boat key duplicated for weeks and tried Home Depot, Menards, and Ace and couldn't find anywhere that carried this specific type of key. Someone at one of the hardware stores recommended MGN so on lunch one day I went over to the shop and was in and out in less than 10 mins with a new duplicated key. The employees were super friendly and the price of having 4 keys copied was only $13 (inlc key ring and key cover). Couldn't recommend this place more!

Great place! Jessy and Dan are great. I needed help with a duplicate fob for my used Infiniti. They know their stuff! Quick and complete. Also personal touches like cookies and coffee for guests. Very nice! And some neat old school displays from years past, to keep me occupied while they did the car. And their employee of the month, Buddy the dog, was great too. Very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Their selection of locks, keys, and accessories is great. They were able to get the chip key of my Kia copied with no problem, aside from the spe ical ordering process for such a key. However, the things that will definitely bring me back are the dogs. If you ask nicely, you can meet and pet them! I will definitely be patronizing this locksmith again if the need ever arises.

Best locksmiths in Lake County! They can do anything! I've gone to them for years and they've acquired key safes and key lockers, replaced and rekeyed doors, made keys (including blind keys from lock codes and a skeleton key for an old table I found). If you have a problem involving locks or keys, see them.

Very much impressed with the service received. I needed an expert's opinion on replacing an entire door lock and assembly, or so I thoight. Instead of trying to sell me something that was not ultimately going to meet my long term expectations, they provided me with a solution that cost me nothing, but my time. They saved me hundreds of dollars. If you're in the need of speaking to an expert on locks and such, MGN is a great place to start. From my POV, i highly recommend this business.

Just bought my new home and had My locks changed. MGN did an excellent job. Dan and Jessy came out to My home and changed the locked quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend!

This is the worst company I have ever been in contact with. Made a appt. to have locks changed in my new home 2 weeks in advance and every time I called I was told the repair man would be here within a 1/2 hour. Called 5 times in one day and the service man did never show up, ( guess he was to busy drinking in a local bar) and never called. Ended up calling someone else that night and he was here in 20 minutes. Have a relative that is friends with the Mayor of Mundelein, and am going to make sure he hears about this. Patricia.

Stopped in here because I needed to get a key cut for my daughters car. Told me it would cost $25 to cut the key that was on the keyfob. ended up not getting the key cut because they could not remove a rollpin to get the key out of the keyfob. Also wanted $125 to program keyfob. Dealer charged me $45. Got the key cut at another locksmith for $2. Not impressed at all.
