HONEST, HONEST, HONEST! I lost my house key while out walking and while normally that wouldn't have been an emergency situation as we have a garage keypad, the keychain had our last name on it. When I got home, I Googled it, and our complete address WITH house number appeared! So this was now a security issue. I called AB, spoke with Russ, and he was able to give me an arrival window of two hours immediately.
The technician came and QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY re-keyed three locks. The cost was so unbelievably fair considering it was an emergency. THANK YOU for being an honest and professional company. I will spread your name everywhere!

They figured out a key for my old antique and it took time. Thanks! They helped me order a fob online and will computerize it.much cheaper than dealer. They created 3 keys for my missing filing cabinet locks. Lastly, they gave great customer service. They've been in business for over 80 years, I remember them as a boy in Norwood, Ohio.

Expensive service, condescending employees, and an overall waste of time, even after doing my due diligence. Before visiting, I called them on the phone to get a price quote, and not only was that quote half of what I was told when I arrived at the location, I was also told that I had to be there right at 9 a.m. or they couldn't do the service they said they could.
I was not told this on the phone, despite the condescending and downright rude employee at the desk insisting that they told everyone such on the phone. Low and behold, I was told I would have to return another day, right at 9am. Long story short, I wasted part of my work day to go to this location only to be told that the service would be twice the cost what I was quoted but also that I would have to waste another day to come back.
I will not be using this service as there are multiple others in the area that have better service and better prices. I only went to this location because they lied about their prices and their services, do not make the same mistake I did! Seriously, these guys offered the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Avoid at all costs. Oh, and the employee also wasn't wearing a mask when I arrived, despite the mandate.
I appreciate the reply and the offer to cut the keys, but I needed the keys today and had another company do the service. So unless you are partial to refunding the money for that service, I unfortunately have no need to return to your business. You may have been in business for 88 years, and you seem have a firm grasp on how to fairly treat customers, but the employee who spoke to me today did not. Unfortunately, it is the employee at the counter who was dealing with the customer today, and not you.
If it had been someone more willing to figure out the miscommunication, I would have likely returned and happily paid another day. Instead I was left feeling condescended to and disrespected. I've worked extensively in customer service, and it is one thing to not believe a customer, but to barely let one get their question out before condescendingly telling them that they should have been there at 9am and that all employees say that to customers. that is another. Again, I do really appreciate your reply, and I wish you and yours well.

Called and asked about getting a key fob done for my vehicle, was told they don't sell the fob but if I get one from Amazon or somewhere they can program. Bought on Amazon, carried in, handed to the gentleman at the counter, was told that they were out of tokens to program that day. Okay. Returned with fob after they had received more tokens and was able to get my fob programmed and key cut in good time.
I will be back when I need further services and I will recommend to friends. From my first visit experience, I would suggest if you're getting programming done that you call a day ahead of you can and check that they have tokens and/or are able to program your particular key fob. If they can, you should be satisfied and will have saved some money compared to going to the dealer.

I phoned Friday, spoke to Russ who set up an appointment for Monday. He was very nice and so was the serviceman, Greg, who came today. I would definitely recommend them, a long established business that can be trusted. Although other companies are cheaper, I can't afford to skimp on my safety and security.

I made an appt today at 11am, left work to get home on time to meet them, and NO-ONE. I called, and talked to Russ (i think) who said (at 11:20) "we're just finishing a job and we'll be out there in 20min or so." No call to me, no communication that they were running late. I complained that if I stood up my client or showed up late for work I would be fired. "things happen" When i got a little fiesty i was told "I don't work for you" (i agree, but i believe when I am paying for a service, there is a certain expectation of quality and good communcation). Russ told me "I'll not be admonished by anyone" When I said I'll find another locksmith he said "please do!" WOW. Classy. AVOID THESE PEOPLE. FIND ANOTHER LOCKSMITH

AB Bonded is where it's at. I was stranded downtown with a stuck tumbler in my car. I called them, they said "we can get there in a couple hours" which I initially thought was ridiculous (I want it NOW hah) but then every other locksmith in town quoted ABOUT A WEEK. I called AB back of course, on top of that they were also about $75 cheaper and I have gone with them for everything ever since.
They also do chipped ignition keys quickly and cheaply. I was prompted to write this review after years of using them myself because a friend of mine just got a couple of ancient 1940s locks rekeyed very inexpensively and very professionally. These guys are far and away the best in town.
