Highly recommended! Great service. Our back door lock jammed and we couldn't open or close it. It was fixed within about 40 mins of our initial phone call. Really reasonably priced and a nice bloke.

After losing my car keys & my house keys also in the car as well I panicked. Googled locksmiths and called David. He arrived in less than 10 mins and very soon gained access to my car. I couldn't thank him enough as it' was as a very cold night and I thought I may have to wait hours. Highly recommend this company.

Returned home to find my door lock had broken, tried everything myself then rang Affordable Locksmith. David turned up in 20 mins and sorted my door with a new lock and keys at a great price! Superb service and very highly recommend!

Getting locked out is indeed stressful and worrying, especially in the middle of the night. It was a good thing I took note of the Affordable Locksmith's contact number before and asked for their help. The service was fast, and it had no hidden charges. It's great to know that locksmiths like them are still around. You should keep their number, too. You'll never know when you will need their help.

So, in the middle of the night, I called from out of state (KS) for them to assist my mother who was locked out of her car in Franklin, TN. Without hesitation, they responded to her location and were able to unlock her vehicle for her as her phone had died. Not only did they respond and unlock her vehicle but went above and beyond what a locksmith is asked to do by showing compassion and concern. FANTASTIC service, extremely quick response time, and more than I could have ever asked for especially at a very reasonable price. Would recommend over and over again.

I contacted David Sutton because my wife was locked out of her vehicle and I was a long way from her. Boy did he show up and save the day! When taking my dog out at night, the door accidentally locked and left me outside with just my dog and, thank goodness, my phone. After calling 5 other "24/7" locksmiths who promised to have their tech call to help me -knowing that I was locked out of my home, at night freezing, Affordable Locksmith came to my rescue. (I was grateful since I had been waiting in the cold for several hours prior while, one by one, the other companies I called promised me a response but not one ever did.). Worst customer service ever. We were trying to work around our busy schedule in trying to get a car key made but the man on the phone was getting upset with us simply due to his lack of patience. It's not worth going through all this trouble. Find someone else to take care of your lock and key needs. I'm so angry.

David was very professional! I called to inquire about an appointment thinking it would be hours or later in the day before a locksmith could come out and David arrived within an hour! David went above to provide to me with a 5 star treatment! My daughter is heading to college and we needed a duplicate key but only had a keyfob only. Not only did David duplicate the key fob, he was able to cut a new key as well! No sales gimmicks or marking campaigns, just good old fashioned customer service! Kudos to David and Affordable Locksmith for a great first impression and worth the price!

Never use this place! They are the worst non considerate, un business like company. I had six locks on my house re-keyed by this company. The mans son did the ALL work while the owner talked to me. Afterwards, I was charged for two workers, 7 locks instead of 6, and they kept the original key that was used. Very dishonest work ethics.

Excellent service, came within hours of our call. Repaired and rekeyed all the entryway locks in the house and replaced 2 locks with new, all for under $270.00. Genuinely nice guy who cares about his customers.

What an ignorant phone person I just talked to. I'm lining up a job and a new home I bought and he is already arguing with me about what I need. Then he says something about unable to make appointments as somebody's mother might die. Stay away from these people, apparently they don't need our business.

When my family and I was out of state on vacation, I received a call from the woman who was house sitting for us that she had locked herself out the house. Guys were super friendly and helpful and didn't laugh at the idiot soccer mom who locked herself out of her car. They were on the scene in a timely manner, were fast (got the door open and made a spare key in under 5 minutes), and, like their name says, they were super affordable. I'd recommend them to anyone in the area who gets into a jam or just wants a good locksmith.

Very nice guy on the phone and an even nicer guy who came out to unlock my car. They took about 25 minutes to get to my car though and their shop is only about a mile away. Great service though!

I needed new keys for my new house. Called and made an appointment for the next day. David came out on time, did the job quickly, and was totally upfront on the exact cost. I appreciate his help.

In response to David: David, not sure where you get the idea I was using someone else's membership. I have my own membership to AAA and have been a member for 16 years. I was quoted $125 from you and then I remembered that AAA could possibly pay for the service or at least a portion of it. When calling AAA, they state they pay $100 of the fee.

At that time, AAA called you and I was told after they pay $100, my balance would still be $125. I questioned that since I was told $125 by you before thinking about AAA. So you would have received a total of $225. So the use of AAA would have been no benefit if I had them use you. I asked them to check this, then I called you back to make sure there was not any misunderstanding and you very rude and starting saying I was being dishonest because I told them I lost the key and not that it broke.

That was not the case, I told them upfront it was broken and it does not matter because AAA pays in either scenario. I have no idea where you get the idea I was using someone else's card. I can back up my case of having AAA membership and that the service includes loss and broken key replacement. I suggest you go to AAA's webpage and or call check out what services are covered.

In my opinion, I think you got defensive and starting calling me dishonest because you were caught taking advantage of me and AAA. However, I do wish you well and I hope will learn to be more professional and try to obtain all the facts. Thanks!

I'm not going to go into details of my story, but it involves car keys and a divorce from an angry, bitter wife (I was the one to file for the divorce). Anyway, David was great and really helped me out in a very crazy situation. He's coming back to rekey the house this week. She's gone and happy days are here again!

RUN - Don't walk. This guy has attitude for days, is inept and should be ashamed of himself.

This company is a joke. I set up a time to have my store locks changed. After 15 minutes past our appointment time, No one showed up so I started calling. No one answered the phone for over two hours. Then the owner called after I left several messages told me that he was at the hospital (a friend had died of cancer) but one of his employees was suppose to have come out.

He said he would call him and see what was going on. He called back and said the employee went to the wrong plaza (but never stopped to call when he couldn't find us?) I asked Dave if there was any way he could still make it out to change the locks, as I had taken time off work to do this. Dave started yelling at me "I'm so sorry my friend died and inconvenienced you!

My friend is such a rude and inconsiderate person for dying while you wanted your locks changed!" I was like, "Are you kidding me?" Because I asked you to send your employee back out to do a job? This guy is nuts and obviously doesn't know how to separate his business and personal life. You can tell by reading the other YELP reviews this is not the only time he has flipped out on someone. This guy is not mentally stable.

After moving into our new home on 3/20/12 we had Affordable Locksmith key our front, side, back & garage door locks.to all use the same key. I erroneously didn't check that all locks were changed. I took the mans word that it was done. It had taken the man so long to complete the task that I just wanted him out of my house. We always enter our home using the front door or garage door opener and never realized that the side, back and garage door locks were not keyed correctly, We have recently completed exterior renovations to our home and have just found the errors.

When I called David Sutton and told him that my locks were keyed incorrectly. he screamed at me and called me a "freaking idiot for waiting so long to call him". Do yourself a favor and use anther company!

I called one morning to set up an appointment to have my door and storm door fixed for 3:30 PM. At 4:30, no one had called or showed up, so I called. David, said someone was on their way. Guess what? No one ever showed up or called to tell me why. I had other things I needed to be doing and wasted 2 hours of my time waiting on someone.

NEVER USE THIS PLACE! I locked my keys in my car on a Saturday. I called, but within 5 minutes of calling I was able to open my car. I called back to cancel immediately, so as not to inconvenience anyone. The person who answered began berating me and told me I was "being a jerk." I said, "A jerk" to be sure I'd heard correctly. "Yes, a jerk, " he repeated.

Then he told me his employee's uncle had died and I was responsible for taking him away from his family. When I tried to calmly reply, he yelled over me and hung up on me. PLEASE NEVER USE AFFORDABLE LOCKSMITH! And please tell everyone you know about them, as I will.

Full disclosure: I know the owner. That aside, I can honestly say that owner David Sutton lives to serve his customers. the number of the truck is his personal cell phone and he has it with him all the time. You have a pretty good chance that he'll be the one crawling out of bed in the middle of the night to open your door. And, he'll be happy to do it. He'll get you in your car with some nifty little tools that don't mess up your locks.

He can also handle big commercial projects like re-keying a church, school or office building. And he'll be nice about it. And you won't need to worry about your own security after he leaves because he's a stand up guy.

I was very pleased with the service, value and courteousness of David Sutton, the owner of Affordable Locksmith in Franklin. David has developed a useful website that exposes some of the scams perpetrated by unscrupulous 'locksmiths' on unsuspecting customers. Educate yourself. Don't be a victim.
