Ben and his crew did a pretty big job for us - we had to relocate our video intercom system from an interior lobby to the outside because of continuous vagrancy issues. They were quick, reasonably priced and did great work. Ben patiently put up with all of our questions and concerns. He made very good recommendations along the way, that weren't just a "sales pitch" but really made sense, like putting an extra bar over the lock for security.
He immediately pointed out that one of the lobby doors was slamming shut and dripping oil - something we've been ignoring for many months. The whole job cost us a bit more, but it was well worth it to get it done right. We now have perfectly "tuned" doors, they made sure that the front door closed perfectly without "sticking" so it always locks. Wiring this since most reviews are about lockouts - if anyone is looking for more serious work, hope this will be helpful.

Ben thoroughly explained the different lock options. What I originally wanted would not work with my door, so he suggested something else that ended up being cheaper. He did not even have to go back to his truck! I needed 2 extra keys, which he made for me quickly in his truck and did not charge me. Will definitely use again if necessary!

I called Metro Locksmith when my sons bike lock was jammed one evening and he was stuck on the upper west side. I sent him a picture and he was able to tell me exactly what the problem was. He even told me the best way to get the lock open on my own. Which worked! He was very knowledgeable with Master locks and with his help I was finally able to get the bike lock open.
He was very honest and could have easily charged me to come out to break the lock without even offering his advice. I appreciate Metro Locksmiths help, his honesty, and integrity. I wouldn't hesitate to call Metro Locksmith again if I'm in a jam. His willingness to not only help and come out if need be but the fact that he took the time out in the evening to assist. Thank you so much!

We received excellent service from Metro Local Locksmith. We left our car key inside the car by accident and called them for help. Ben showed up within a few minutes, he was very friendly and professional. Even though our case wasn't an easy one, he patiently worked on our car and finally was able to open the door. I would highly recommend them to everyone and would have given more starts if I could!

We live on the upper east side, last Sunday we have lost our apartment key. We called numerous security and locksmith service and none of them gave us flat price over the phone. I called Metro and they were the only company to give me a flat price over the phone. The service was excellent, we had a weekend appointment and they installed on the same visit.
