George and one of his colleagues helped me figure out how to remove an older Emtek locking doorknob. George took the time to work from photos I took and one doorknob to find the correct schematics and coach me through the removal. Then, with all the parts in front of his colleague they sold me the correct replacement part for $13.50 vs. a service call and new doorknob that would have been about $165.00.
This is not the first time these folks have helped me achieve the best solution, even though it turns out to be less revenue for them. I have also made bigger purchases with them and because of all this, I trust them implicitly and will be back. Thanks!

Came here after Ace "the unhelpful hardware place" refused to cut keys with my Honda blanks still sealed in the original packaging. These guys where not only SUPER helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, and awesome, but where quite reasonably priced as well. It was a delightful experience. Can not recommend them enough! Andrew from Brass Key came and spent a couple of hours working onsite. Our six doors used to all be on different keys - now they're all on the same key! He also adjusted the location of a deadbolt strike plate so that the bolt could be closed and unlocked a piece of furniture that had locked itself during the moving process. Andrew was friendly, professional, wore a mask and was mindful of social distancing as soon as he was asked. Hopefully we won't need their services again, but I would happily use them if needed!
