Provide bad advice, do not communicate important needed information (i.e. necessary hardware required, misinform pricing etc.). I will not use this company and do not recommend. Had to redo and correct the mess they did.

Called Dick's and Mr. Randy was very helpful in providing all the steps I needed to take to save time and money for adding a new touchscreen smart lock above the existing deadbolt. Once I purchased my lock, he was able to come over the next day and drilled, cut out and installed my new smart lock. Very professional, quick and significantly cheaper than other locksmiths. Will definitely use again and will be recommending to my friends.

Wow. I just exchanged numerous emails and a phone call with Randy, the owner, on a Saturday morning. He diagnosed my issue thru photos and emails, and then walked me thru the simple fix over the phone. And he did it all because he didn't want to charge me for a service fee for a visit. His advice was free of charge. You don't find many like that in the world anymore! Thank you Randy!

Randy was extremely helpful. He was able to provide a quote to me over the phone and was very honest and up front that it could be more until he saw the filing cabinet I needed unlocked. He got to the job site within an hour of my phone call. Super professional, nice, fairly priced, and on time!

WOW. I can't say enough about the professional and personable treatment I received from Ryan when he came out to re-key some locks at my new condo. ON TIME, reasonably priced and friendly! I realized after he had gone that I needed to re-key one more lock - Ryan returned the next day, did the job in less than one minute and no charge! I will always use them for any key and lock issues - Ryan was GREAT and I was very very pleased. You should use them for all your lock/key needs - I plan to!

Ryan came promptly out after a frantic call of "we locked ourselves out" as we were about to go on a walk with our 7 month old baby on a warm summer day. Was looking for a locksmith to put on our garage door since there's been unfortunate break ins due to everyone being home. Dick' s service is always right on professional to ones needs

I found them first on Angie's List and then looked at the Yelp reviews. When I initially called about re-keying file cabinets and doors at my mother's house, Randy wanted to know if the front door and the doors to the garage were the same manufacturer. I knew that the front door was a Kwickset but I wasn't sure about the doors to the garage.

He was upfront with me that he couldn't re-key the garage doors if they were Schlage locks. He also said that it would be easy to re-key the file cabinets so each could use the same key since they are brand new. I was pleased that Randy was upfront with me on my initial call. A week later, I scheduled Randy to 1) re-key the file cabinet to match the existing file cabinet key; and 2) re-key 2 garage doors to match the front door. Randy gave me a time range of 2-2:30 PM on when he would arrive at my mother's home and he promptly arrived at 2:15 PM.

He honored the Angie's List coupon and gave us 2 additional free keys and a 5% discount. He also lubricated the door handles on the 2 garage doors and made sure that the left side of the front door was secured and latched. I would use him again.

Had a problem with my Cannon Safe. Called support and they said 2 weeks to have a lock & smith come out. Called Dick's and spoke with Randy. Very informative and came out to my business with an hour. He spent about an hour there and had to call Cannon to get some support. The charges were half of what he quoted on the phone. Very professional and friendly. Highly recommend speaking with Randy. Needed my office door knob/lock looked at. Ryan came by, took a look, fixed one area, but realized the door knob itself was in need of replacing, and handled that too. Was in and out in literally 15 minutes, maybe less. I administer a community page, and I will definitely be recommending these guys in the future! Super efficient!
