Lee truly is committed to helping his community and ensuring the customer is set up for success. He replaced the lock on our safe quickly and professionally and when I had issues, because I did not pay attention, he came right over to trouble shoot and assist. Would give 5 stars but I noticed some tracking up and down the stairs. Can't vacuum it out. The guy changed my locks on the spot though and in a timely manner. Was easy and simple, just have to find a way to clean the carpet now. Recommend having shoe covers available just in case you have carpeted floors. I just needed my locks changed immediately and didn't think to pick them up.

We were locked out of our vehicle. Called a lock smith. Waited over an hour for the other guys and gave up. We saw Knight Safe drive by while we were waiting so we called the number. The guy answered and turned right around to help, even tho he was busy. He was very friendly, efficient, and much cheaper than the other company. Highly recommend!

I couldn't have had a better experience! Lee Mentzos was my locksmith and he was amazing! Very punctual! Lee knew my situation and recommended a deadbolt for my front and back doors, which I did not have. He also re-keyed my current locks. Lee worked fast, did great installation, and cleaned up after himself. I feel so much more secure in my apartment. I have never used a locksmith before, but after this experience, I will always refer back to him with any and all of myl lock needs!

As a general contractor and a realtor, I frequently engage locksmiths. I needed a locksmith in the Tacoma area to rekey a number of existing locks, install new deadbolts to match existing antique door hardware and rebuild antique locks on a historic property built in 1928. Lee delivered on all accounts - he was on time, knew exactly what the historic lock sets needed to be restored and function correctly and completed everything efficiently and at a great price. He meticulously cleaned up at the end - all in all it was a great experience. I TOTALLY recommend Knight Safe and Lock and will absolutely use them again as the need arises.

We called Knight Safe & Lock to see if they could help us with a sticky door lock issue we had been experiencing. I hired Knight Locksmiths to change my safe lock to a dial instead of a keypad when the lock refused to open. The locksmith did a great job and I am happy with the services they provided. Lee was great! First off I like a small company.no fooling with my personal security, .the fewer people involved the better He did a fantastic job! Re-keyed my entire house and installed a new deadbolt. Not often do I need a locksmith but I will recommend Lee to everyone I know. You cannot do better! Lee is the real deal. He helped to replace the exterior lock-sets at our home in Gig Harbor. He is honest, polite and his craftsmanship is impeccable. We wanted to add an electronic cypher lock to our front door. We didn't want to then have multiple keys so he fix the other exterior locks. He was up-front about cost and even gave us recommendations on where to buy good hardware at a reasonable price.
Once I had the hardware I called him back and he showed up within 15 minutes to the house. I could comment on the overall cost, and that I was surprised at how reasonable it was, but the honest answer is that I'd happily pay double the amount to work with Lee. This is your locksmith.

My wife and I were visiting the area in our motor home when our deadbolt failed. I searched the internet and determined that my deadbolt was no longer manufactured and was an RV specialty item. I called another local locksmith and sent photos and they told me I would have to have my RV door drilled out to accept a new residential deadbolt. Not wanting to drill into my RV, I sought a second opinion with Knight Safe & Lock.
The Knight Safe & Lock Locksmith arrived right on time and immediately recognized the old internal mechanisms as a clone of a brand name lock. He was able to quickly build a new key core for me from scratch--using a core from the new lock that still fit into my existing OEM RV internal deadbolt which still functioned normally. It was an engineering feat and yet it took him only about 3 minutes.
This locksmith is legit and is a true expert craftsman. And the price was extremely reasonable too--less than half what the other locksmith quoted me. I highly recommend Knight Safe & Lock.

There's a reason he has 5 star reviews. I called, and within an hour he had come out and fixed my lock. I wasn't expecting anywhere close to that quick of service, so I was pleasantly surprised. Absolutely the best, most kind-hearted experience! Called just before closing with a residential lockout, not only did he work incredibly hard after hours to a) pick the lock, and when that wasn't possible, b) drill the lock, he installed a new handle right on the spot and made four extra keys, just in case. If you need a locksmith, this is 100% the one to use.

These guys are life savers! A shady pet sitter lost my only house key while my husband was away on business, and I couldn't find anyone late on a Sunday night to get me in my house. I called the next morning before this company was open, and the owner came over right away to let me in and re-key our house. Arrived on Time. Worked for several hours.charges by the door not the time so really a good deal. Installed 9 new hardware sets including two int privacy and two ext dead bolts (one was fancy and imported so it took more time to make it fit) my home is from the 20's so he had to fix and realign a few of the doors/locks. Super pleasant, no BS, gets to work and works till job is done. I highly recommend.

Came out and opened a safe for me that had been in the family for years. This thing was ancient! LOL! I had another guy out that wanted to destroy it to open it. We had called another company who said they were local but clearly they were not. They quoted us under 25.00 plus labor, which we didn't really think much of until he finally got there. It took 2 hours to get to us when he said it would be 15 minutes then he said the labor price was over 200.00 because "our locks were special and needed to be drilled open".
We told him to leave and called Knight instead. Knight arrived in about 20 minutes and got us right into our house no problem. We will only use Knight Locksmith from now on, they know what they are doing and are not rip off artists like the other guys listed online.

We had our house burglarized and they also stole the house keys. We were not aware that some deadbolts are not as strong as others. They kicked our back door in splitting the wood out. Thankfully we called Lee and he told us about the different types of deadbolts that were available, and arranged for our locks to be changed out with stronger locks, which was done within hours.
It was so reassuring that we could rely on a fast cost efficient service. It helped us sleep better that night. These new locks are much heavier than the locks we had from the hardware store. Lee educated us on the differences and he had many options to choose from right in his truck. We feel much safer now knowing that our doors are much more secure. Thank you for all your help it was much appreciated. Highly recommended!

My mistake, the wood door had contracted in this dry weather and the spring latch was catching. Knight Safe & Lock did not hesitate to help me. They came out this morning, after I called yesterday, late afternoon, and they fixed it at no charge. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the Gig Harbor, WA area who needs work done of this kind. I do not write reviews of companies typically, so to do this review means I am very impressed by this company.

We hired a different Locksmith company that said they were local but were NOT. It took him 4 hours to arrive and he could not unlock my car! The man made us pay him in advance with our credit card before he came out so I was charged a service call fee for nothing!. Frustrated, I then called Lee at Knight Safe and Lock. He came right out and did the job the other "Locksmith" said could not be done, at a fraction of the cost the other guy charged me. Knight Safe and Lock are truly professionals. Beware of other companies that say they are local. Knight Safe and Lock are actually local and do a great job!
