I called A C Lock about a car fob that I needed to replace. A C Lock quoted a price just over half what the dealership had quoted me. It ended up taking two trips to A C Lock to get a new fob programmed. Tom, the owner, ended up charging me even less than he originally quoted me for the replacement fob. The new fob works great, I got an excellent deal, and I have a new go-to locksmith.

One of the few place make keyless entry. He's also redo my Tacoma key to make easier to lock/unlock the door and ignition. Highly recommended

Just called for lockout service for a property I manage in Berkeley, it was an urgent matter and I told him I needed to find someone out there today. The gentlemen who answered was extremely rude and hung up on me. I am taking my business elsewhere and I suggest you do the same.

Just tried to find out if a car key can be made without a spare. Was told he doesn't do that because he's too busy and was hung up on. to say the least wouldn't suggest to anyone.

My ignition was damaged during an attempted auto theft. I was lucky that the would-be car thieves weren't successful. I was even luckier that I had called on Tom to replace the lock. Everything about my experience was positive. Service was prompt and communication was stellar. He even gave me directed me to a body shop for work that needed to get done. Recently new to the area, so I'm glad to know that I now have a locksmith I can count on.

Tom was fantastic. I lost the last fob for our Nissan and he came to us quickly and left us with two new ones, charged LESS than he quoted. This is so different than I expected. Last time we lost all our fobs the dealership said they were the only ones who could make new ones without an existing one ("only dealers can access the database"), charged us about twice what they quoted, took overnight, and we had to have the van towed to them.

I could not be happier with Tom's service. friendly, professional, quick, a bargain, showed up masked, and came to us. Communication was great. he was on a job when I called, gave a quote but was up front about not knowing if he had a second fob without returning to the shop (he did), and then was in touch upon getting back to the shop, and here very soon after.

Great service, even during a pandemic! The proprietor was helpful and honest. I bought a car key copying kit from ebay (with an extra key from Amazon). I had him cut them so that I could program them myself with the kit. He warned me that these kits are hit and miss, and that he has seen issues with my vehicle copying keys before (to the point that he wasn't comfortable doing it himself).

I felt that he was honest about the risks, and he cut the keys for me at a reasonable price. Everything worked out; the keys were cut accurately, worked perfectly, and even programmed well. Overall a great experience, and I always appreciate honesty and a craftsperson who takes pride in their work. I will definitely be coming back the next time I have the need!

I posted a scathing review of this business we should have been posted to a business in Sacramento by the same name. I have withdrawn my review of this business and offer my humble apologies to both the owner and anyone who read the previous review. Based on what the owner responded, I would have had very satisfactory results from this business. Unfortunately, I believe that they do not service Davis where I needed the work. Also unfortunately, I have unwittingly given a bad review to someone who does not deserve it.

This business delivers a fast & contactless service. Their service is faster and more reliable than everyone else is this area. It is also 1/3 of the price that you pay anywhere else. I don't know the guy's name but man, he is fast and accurate. He is attending out of the window during the pandemic so you don't go inside but rather make your order out of the window. There is easy parking around the corner next to the car wash.

First time customer and for sure will not be the last. Tom earned a lifetime customer today. I swung by to get a car key copied and noted that he wasnt there. I called and he explained that he was on his way to a site job, but was close by and actually turned around to come back and help me out. For him to do that for me for just a little key copy is outstanding customer service.

He was patient and explained some pretty subtle differences in the weird key that I had for my car regarding the integrated transponder and the diffs in the master vs. valet keys. He got it copied for me in moments, charged me virtually nothing for it and the key works great! Thanks Tom. You are now my key shop and will be for anyone that asks me.
