I needed a remote casing repaired that had cracked for my sons Honda Civic. We called around and my wife Renee found Jos. Minkel locksmith on forest avenue, Staten Island New York. Months past and then his manual key became stuck in the door. I remembered Jos. Minkel locksmith, called them, spoke to i believe his wife, she told me that she would wait for me, I went and she made me 2 remote keys, while Jos. tried to remove the key, but because of the inner workings of the lock he couldn't.

He has since then ordered me a lock from Honda and will install it. His prices are very reasonable. He an his wife we're very friendly, courteous and easy to deal with. They are a local small business and I would highly recommend them for all your locksmith & security needs.

Mr. Minkel came and installed new locks on our doors, made keys on the spot and also went to Home Depot for bambo and put up a fence in our backyard. He was professional, on-time and not very expensive. He went above and beyond to accommodate us!

It's usually a family member that could probably make keys before they could do their A B C 's. In addition, Walter is a wealth of knowledge on so many things. Very interesting guy to speak with. I had purchase a safe from Homedepot Stack on Elite and the lock had came damaged during transport I call the company to replace and they were very helpful. The stack on company subbed the work out to replace to Minkel the we very accommodating with the scheduling in time very convenient for me who only has one day a week off they came and fixed the problem and my safe works fine.
