Absolute worst company to ever deal with - DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS OR ORDER FROM THEM. The management is extremely rude and have no concept of the business they are running. I ordered a standard door handle keypad lock for my lock, received the order confirmation email, no problem. Then a week later I get an email that my order has been cancelled.
I reach out to Taylor Security and I am told that my order was cancelled because they sent me emails to confirm that I actually live at my address. I never received any emails from anyone except my order confirmation email and then an automated cancellation email. They had my phone number listed, and I was told they didn't call me because they didn't know if it was truly me who would be answering, but yet emailing a random Gmail email account would then verify me? All of this for a door handle lock.

I found Taylor Security online when comparing prices to a local quote to replace six entry locksets and six deadbolts with Master Lock hardware. I wanted the twelve lock cylinders keyed the same. I was very pleased to find Taylor Security was able to deliver the same exact hardware, keyed alike for less than one half the cost of the local quote. I spoke with Sales Associate David, who I found to be extremely helpful. My order was received very timely and accurate.

I ordered an HES 1006 doorstrike because it specifically said it "accommodates up to a 1" deadbolt". It shipped quickly and came in good working order. When I tested it, it would not stay open so there is no way you can use it with a deadbolt. I was then informed i needed an extra "DB" kit. They have issued an RMA and agreed to waive the 15% restocking fee since it wasn't clear. The website should be updated to clearly state that it accommodates up to a 1# deadbolt if you purchase the DB kit"

They are the worst. RIPOFF'S! Bought a fairly expensive door and lock system from them. After one year it broke and I brought it back for parts. They ordered a whole new lock system which I had to pay for AGAIN. It turns out that the manufacturer has a lifetime warranty which I have since used and received the same door lock and handle for free including shipping. Taylor knew this but neglected to share this information when I came back the first time. I will never do business with someone who does business in this fashion. These kind of people eventually will go out of business as others will see what I've seen.

Taylor Security and Lock Co, Inc. is a rip off. I bought a complete lock set from them and after a year and a half it broke. Not blaming them for it braking, but when I went back they charged me over $140.00 for replacement parts that went bad in the lock. Come to find out after the fact that the manufacture of the the lock set has a LIFETIME warranty so I could have received the parts for free. Funny thing that the staff at Taylor Security and lock never mentioned that. I wonder why. They are thieves and will never do business with them again or recommend.

Ordered $2500 of Emtek locks from them. One of them broke after about 4 months of use. Sent it back and they said we had reversed the lock. Not true. If the lock was reversed they did it. They insist it was not a warranty issue for that reason and they now will not respond to calls or emails. Do not do business with these people for any reason. I wish I had looked at these reviews.

I ordered over $200 worth of door hardware on August 10th. After a week and a half of no shipping notice, I had to call them. They said one item was backordered and it would be in the following day and then shipped to me that same day. I called back a few days later and they told me the same thing. I just called again today and they said I would get a notice at 5pm today. We'll see how that goes.
When an item is backordered, normal companies notify the consumer that their order will be over two weeks late and give them the opportunity to cancel the order and go with a different company. I wanted to work with Taylor because they are local and have a great selection, but it looks like the rest of my security needs will be stocked by amazon.com.
