The appointment was easy to make. Marianne showed up on time. She was very pleasant. We had all of our locks re-keyed after moving here. She cleaned up as she worked. We have had similar work done in other cities and I felt that the pricing was competitive.

Needed a replacement key for a cargo carrier for my Crosstrek. Was able to give Morgan the key code and was told they would have it ready for my first thing tomorrow morning. Not 10 minutes later she was calling me to let me know my key was ready to pick up. Gene was there with Morgan when I picked up my key and was very quick to introduce himself to me. I was locked out of my car already past my checkout time at my hotel and I called Odom. The gentleman who answered told me it might take a couple hours. He asked if I needed an earlier appointment. I said it would be better for me. He immediately referred me to a competitor who arrived promptly, communicated well about when he would arrive and did the job in a snap. Top notch service. The locksmith was here within an hour and was the nicest guy I've met in a long time. He was professional, knowledgable, and efficient and he solved my issue right away. He explained what had gone wrong and made good suggestions as to how to prevent it in the future.

The manager at A.L. Odom managed to squeeze me in on the same day I phoned so I didn't have to leave my house unsecured with a broken lock for another night. The techs very courteously phoned to say they were on the way. They worked very efficiently and did a great job on the install as well as cleaning up the mess from the wood door cutting and drilling.

They also didn't try to sell me more than I needed. The final cost even came in a few dollars under the estimate. Very professional and courteous company. I will use them again!

I recently purchased a large safe from A.L. Odom Locksmiths. From the first telephone call to inquire about products to final delivery it was truly an outstanding experience. Even though I live an hour from the store location, Gene and Diane came to my home to ensure they understood the placement so they could quote me an accurate delivery cost and have the necessary staff at delivery.

There was no charge for this visit. When they delivered the safe they took all the necessary time to ensure that the safe was placed where I wanted it and secured properly. There was no rush to do so throughout the process and no damage to my new home. It was amazing with a safe weighing over 1,800 pounds! Gene and his team were truly awesome and total professionals!

They are very good at key duplication. My car with keyless entry/start has a very strange key fob where the unusual key is stored. They were able to duplicate it.

The only place in Western NC to buy a safe. Honest local family business and courteous and very professional on the delivery. Highly recommended.

They came out immediately and fixed it right away. The service was excellent. Just one locksmith came out.

.Called at the last minute to change locks. They were very booked for the day, but called their on-call person in to help us. The technician arrived on time and was very pleasant and professional. One lockset was on a door that needed to be planed to fit better to fit into the strike plate. The technician offered to plane the top of the door down for us, but we did not have a planer on hand (just moved in.) Thought that was a really nice gesture.

Later we noticed one of the locks was jamming now and then. We called for a followup. The appointment was made promptly. The door required redrilling the hole to ensure proper filling into frame. The technicians apologized that the previous technician did not notice it needed to be done. They quickly repaired it at no charge. All the technicians were courteous and cleaned up beautifully after themselves.
