I called golden locksmith the other day to get a replacement key fob programmed. They showed up at my house a couple of hours later and had it programmed in about 15 minutes. Fast and friendly service 10/10 would definitely call again

Got locked out of my car. I called and gave them my info. They said a locksmith would reach out to me in 5 min and give me estimate and ETA. I waited 20 min. No call. I called again. I was told my case would be reassigned to another locksmith and would receive a call in 5 min. I waited another 20 min. No call. The lady on the phone said she would reach out to the locksmiths to see what the problem was and would call me back in 10 min.

I waited 15 and called her. She says the locksmiths were probably really busy, and they could schedule something for tomorrow. I asked for a ballpark estimate and she said there would be a $30 trip fee to get to me plus around $130 to take the key out of my car. Terrible service. I recommend Pop-a-lock. They charge $70 - $80 for an hour turnaround time.

Reach out to them if you need a locksmith they are responsive and helpful. They have a timely response.

Golden Locksmith was excellent. I called on a Saturday morning after locking myself out and with a handyman due to arrive in less than an hour. The locksmith arrived in about half an hour and had the door unlocked in about 3 minutes. It wasn't cheap but I'm pretty sure any locksmith would be about the same considering it was on a weekend.

Great locksmith company! I had them few times for few different services! Always good! always on time! and always fair price!

As someone who manages a rental property remotely, I need companies that are communicative, accommodating to working over the phone, and flexible with scheduling. The dispatcher quickly got Oren, the technician, in touch with me. Oren was able to schedule his time with my tenant and contacted me if there were issues. He also walked through what he did to get everything fixed.

I did call around to a few locksmiths before choosing Golden Locksmith. Although their price was not the most competitive, it was fair. I was sold on how effectively they communicated and how quickly they were able to get the problems fixed.

Their prices aren't competitive and they didn't communicate the price before hand. I decided to go with them because they were recommended to me. Make sure you get a couple of quotes before you decide to go with them.

I called this business to get a quote on a lock change. The lady asked me for my address so i gave it to her. She began to read my address back and got it all wrong. So i told her no that is not the address I gave her and began to slowly tell her my address again she stops me mid sentence and says she feels like I am getting an attitude with her there was no tone in my voice So i politely said to her no that is okay and moved on to a different vendor.

So Karen i guess she is a manager called me and apologized for my initial interaction overall they had the best price for what i needed a tech was here in less than 30 mins and my locks changed within 20 mins. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing this service

Joey was a pleasure to work with. He communicates clearly about his schedule and is very responsive. When 2 of the locks he installed malfunctioned due to internal parts, he came quickly and replaced them for free. Highly recommend if you want a reliable locksmith who does quality work.

My tenant's dead lock was stuck. Joey was in the area and he replaced the lock very quickly. Joey was responsive and helpful. I highly recommend Joey if you have a lock issue.

Some people had tried breaking into my job site. And by 'breaking in', I mean they had keys. Apparently my employers never bothered to replace the locks when they leased the office space, and that was seven years ago. I had asked the assistant to get quotes from several locksmiths I had found on Yelp and one that I'd personally used in the past.

Out of about five that she called, Golden Locksmith offered the lowest rate to replace the lock. One locksmith quoted a rate that was about $20 lower but it was only to rekey the old lock. So for that small of a difference, we decided to replace. I believe the technician showed up within a couple hour of them getting the approval to do the job. It took the technician about 20-30 minutes to replace the lock, and then he offered something that would give us a discount, which we accepted.

He also gave us five new keys for the lock for everyone that needed one. Now the office has a brand new lock and we couldn't be happier with the Golden Locksmith's service. I would definitely recommended them.

I couldn't open the deadbolt on the back door of my trailer. Ari arrived when scheduled, checked the back door deadbolt, and was able to open it. He recommended more graphite or a shot of WD 40, and that I use the door more frequently. I was only charged for a service call, I forgot to ask for an estimate. If I need any locks sorted out, I'll call again.

I found Golden Locksmith on my moms group on Facebook after locking myself out of my car. Not only did they show up and have my car unlocked within 30 minutes of me calling them, but they emailed me an invoice to pay online. It was a completely seamless and painless experience that saved my day.

We lost the key to our electrical box and needed a rekey or new lock. Scheduled time 8-10am. When we called for ETA, we were given 30 min at 915am. He didn't show up until 1015. He said the box needed a lock changed. After changing locks and completing work, I went upstairs to see the "missing" key was inside the unlocked box. The locksmith could have told me it was there and just charged for unlocking instead of a new lock for $146.

Very frustrated of their untimeliness and dishonesty. Won't be using them again. In response to Joey: As a small business owner myself and knowing the times we are in, I would not try to damage anyone's reputation or business. What would I gain from telling lies? The fact that you would even accuse me of that shows me exactly what type of business you run.

The truth: Your tech came in at 1015 (schedule time at 8-10a, so he was ALREADY late). I showed him where to go, he explained he had to change the lock and it couldn't be rekeyed. He changed the lock, come downstairs and I paid him. I did not show him any key nor barely had a conversation with him, as I was downstairs with my two small children and already pissed about his lateness AND NO APOLOGY.

Found the key when I went upstairs right (see picture) after he left. So no, you don't know what you're talking about unless you were there. If this is the way you do business, good luck to you. But don't tell lies just to save it.

My house needed the locks changed because because someone had broken in or used a key to enter my home without permission. I was afraid to stay in my house until the locks were changed. The tech came over the very night I called and fixed the locks at 9 pm. I wish I knew the tech's name who performed the service because he was super efficient and genuinely concerned for my safety. He checked my windows and made sure my locks were changed and operable before he left. Excellent service! Highly recommend.

I'm no stranger to locksmiths. The first time I was locked out of my vehicle, that locksmith gave me ambiguous estimates over the phone, came hours late, and charged me nearly double the "estimate" for a key that barely worked. This time, I lost my keys, and in a panic, I found and scheduled first local locksmith I could find that promised "fantastic service", "not like other locksmiths" and "Guaranteed to be a repeat customer!" on their website. However, when I called them over the phone, I saw the familiar picture and already knew how it was going to go down.

After digging deeper through Yelp, BBB, etc., I found they had a lot of complaints. I was able to find Golden Locksmith and cancelled that previous appointment. With no expectations, I called them over the phone, scheduled the appointment during business hours, gave them details and asked for a quote (which I actually got). The next day, Nico came, was extremely patient as I couldn't get my apartment garage door open for a while, and he made my key. Nico also wore a face mask, was professional and super chill. Had my key made for the exact quote over the phone.

All in all, I understand that locks might vary depending on the specific configuration, etc. However, I can truly respect a locksmith business that is transparent in the pricing, and doesn't take advantage of people who are in a bad situation.

I've used this company twice now. They are always professional, on-time, friendly, skilled and fast. The technician came for one specific job but while here I spontaneously requested an additional task. It was no problem. There was neither a complaint nor hangling by the technician. My home feels safer too. I've been very satisfied with this company. And not only would I use them again, I would recommend them to friends and neighbors.

The locksmith that came to my house was superb. He was actually able to give me an accurate estimate of the cost for repair. I needed a lock replaced along with a bigger opening in the door frame for the deadbolt to pass through. I also asked him to check my other door knobs and he noticed that my key was not an original key and so he created a master key which works even better than the previous key that I had. Overall, I was very pleased with the service that was provided and I highly recommend this company.

Called at 10pm the night hoping for earliest appointment and they were at my place first thing in the morning. Johnnie was very courteous and professional, he was able to duplicate my car key and finish everything within 15 mins. Not to mention they gave me the best quote out of all the places. They really helped me out. We were out of town and my kids had taken the house key off the pet sitter keyring. So here we were on vacation and no way for my pet sitter to get in the house to check on the pets. They were able to get into the house and everyone was safe. The fast friendly service was great, and I didn't find the late night weekend call price expensive.

This team was incredibly responsive, fast, and dependable - when POP-A-LOCK told me they couldn't help me out and were shut down. I was locked out of my car in a parking lot in the post oak/galleria area at night on a Friday. I knew I had full coverage insurance that would cover it, but since no answered the main line, I started calling locksmiths. Pop-a-lock was the first company I tried, and they wasted 15 min of my time on the phone just to tell me they are shut down in my area and they had no one to help me.

Exceptional Service! They answered the phone promptly and professionally. Carefully listened to my issue and set up an appointment time that was convenient for me. Price was very fair. I had previously called 2 other locksmith companies earlier in the week and each promised to come out and program my remotes but neither showed up. The first locksmith called me a few hours after telling me he was on his way to let me know he couldn't make it, but gave no reason. The second locksmith made excuses 3 days in a row about not being able to show up..
