I lost my keys so needed to find a locksmith asap. Lucky I found this place. Bar responded quickly - was at my place in 45 minutes or less. Took less than an hour to replace 2 locks. Reasonable price. Very professional and polite. Thank you

I called 7 Day Locksmith San Diego because I wanted to get three locks changed on my main door. I called in the afternoon and they asked me when they should pass by? They came the same day! After about 40 minutes I had three new secure locks. I recommend these guys to anyone that needs any locksmith work done.

Installed a new lock. Bar was very communicative from start to finish. The job was done efficiently and I am happy with the finished product. He also added an additional service upon request to make an existing lock turn better. Thanks for the friendly and professional service!

I am very impressed with this company! The locksmith Gonen came right on time. The job was done in a very short amount of time. He was courteous and helpful. He waited around afterward to make sure that I understood exactly how to operate the locks. The price was exactly what had been quoted to me on the phone earlier. I was really pleased with the job Gonen and his colleagues performed to secure my home. They placed four locks around my home, performed an excellent job and all the locks function flawlessly. They also replaced our old front door lock with a high-security lock. I even had them install an inner door lock on one of my rooms. I am quite pleased with the services. Highly recommended.

This service is incredible. They arrived at my apartment at the last minute and changed the lock for us. They were able to do a task that the other locksmiths were unable to complete. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of service provided here!

Don't know why the reviews here are so poor. Osher came when he said he would and stopped at nothing to make sure I could re-enter my apartment. He also went through a different entrance to preserve the expensive lock that was not working. In no time, I was back in my apartment. I hope I don't need to call them soon, but without question, if I need a locksmith, I'm calling here.

I was locked out of my apartment after hours at my complex, so the leasing office wasn't available to help me. I was pretty desperate, and this is one of the first results that shows up in the search. I went with the first one. I've had one other experience with a locksmith before (for a car issue), and it was absolutely horrible. This service rates a star or two above that.

This service definitely comes super quickly. They also will definitely get you into your place. The problem, however, is the price. The woman that I spoke to on the phone quoted me $65 for the entire thing. None of the details or variables were explained to me. She didn't say that the price would be dependent on certain factors, she just said $65. So, I said sure, sounds great.

The locksmith comes, and he allegedly can't pick the lock. I'm not sure how real his attempt was. Since he can't pick the lock, he breaks the doorknob off and installs a new one. Allegedly, it costs extra for the new doorknob to work with the same key? So, with the cost of the new door knob, the ability to use my old key, and the trip he took, the total cost with $278.

That includes the $8 fee for using a credit card (seems like a lot for a credit card fee, doesn't it?) Oh but wait, this is after he said that if I write him a 5-star google review (the name of his locksmith company seems to be a separate company from this 7 day locksmith business), he'll give me $18 off. So the moral of the story here is, all locksmiths are shady.

They will bribe you for positive reviews, and you will be thirsty, so you will rate them for that $10 off. The first quoted amounted is never real, and you can't really be sure you're getting fair price when you're desperate and in-the-moment.

Total scam. The guy comes over and pretends that he can't unlock the door with a key set and then he tries with some other tool. What he is unaware of is that my dumb ass got locked out of my house before and a locksmith showed up and immediately got me in with a drill tool in about 5 seconds. So this guy completely removes my door knob and then tells me the whole thing has to be replaced with new keys because he couldn't get in. Do not use them!

Lee was quick to respond, quick to show up and quick to get me in my home. He was friendly, efficient and professional. He even went above and beyond to look at another door and give me his opinion. Not only was he quick to come to my rescue but he was extremely affordable. To be the fastest and the cheapest, why would anyone go anywhere else. And although I hope I don't lock myself out again, this would be the first place I would call. Thank you soooo much, Lee and 7-day locksmith!

Johnny was very fast and helpful. He even took me to a gas station to put gas in my car. He was able to cut and program both my keys for a fair price. I highly recommend this company!

Definitely recommend! Excellent Service! I got locked out of my room and he showed up within minutes! (this was perfect because I am a student and I only had an hour before my class started.) Didn't take him longer than 10 minutes to have my door open! Really friendly and gave me a GREAT deal! FAST quick service! 5 STARS!

Lee was great, came out on a holiday weekend within 1/2 hour to fix my mailbox! He even had the correct replacement, which was great since I had bought the incorrect one!

Charged SO $124 dollars for a simple car lockout. I would never pay more than $80, SO was never quoted a price. The receipt read "custom amount" rather than a simply "car lockout" or similar, leading me to believe they ripped off my timid SO. I asked why it was so expensive and they told me it was because they had insurance. Only use if you want to pay twice as much as other places for the "peace of mind" the insurance gives the locksmith.

Memorial day weekend, came home buzzed. forgot my keys somewhere...(f*ck) in short got locked out of the house. Yelp some locksmiths. Called this 7 day locksmith. I was really frustrated but they were really nice and made me calm. gave me a reasonable price so I agreed. waited for not more than 20 minutes. very professional! friendly too. unlocked my door and I was satisfied. will recommend!

7 day locksmith did a very awesome job unlocking my door room. I was stuck for hours and dint know what to do until i googled 7 day locksmith. The person who came in was presentable and trust worthy and also professional he unlocked my room door like it was nothing. I also found out that my key was in my room also! I broke my key in my moms apartment in la Costa late at night. I called this company and they had a very quick response. The gentleman who showed up was very professional and nice. He opened my moms apartment and installed a new lock. I am very appreciative that they were there to help. I will defiantly keep them in my contacts as a personal locksmith. Thanks again!

The best in San Diego! I was stuck outside in the middle of the night and when I called them and said that I was alone, they arrived in 5 minutes! (and I live in northeastern San Diego). 5 stars for a fast and excellent service!

I had to change my locks at my work, I didn't know who to call, I went on line and found this guys with 2 stars. At first I was hesitating to call them but they were the only people who was willing to come out immediately and take care of my locks. It was a Saturday morning, they promised me to be at my work in less than 20 minutes but I think they showed up in 15 First a couple showed up, looked like they were husband and wife, after the price fixing he started working on the locks, it looked like he was taking for ever, then the boss showed up and got the locks fixed just the way we wanted them to be.

It looked like they were working hard to impress us, I really think they did a good job for us and fix the locks the way we wanted them, I would definitely use them if I need them again.

In a hurry to get into a room I was locked out of, I went in Google and found these people. They showed up an hour and a half later than when they told me they would then charged $163 to break the door knob. He eventually left a gaping hole in the door saying the door was too old and he doesn't have a lock to replace it. Now I have to call another locks it to fix this. That's what I get for not reading the reviews on yelp first.

I called Rancho Bernardo Locksmith and set an appointment. 7 day locksmith came out and rekeyed 11 locks for $850.00. Like a dope I paid it and then called around. 3 other locksmiths said to cancel the check and call the police.

We were locked out of our car so we Googled a locksmith. This company was the top result and said it was "15 minutes, 15 dollars". What a great and fast deal we thought. We thought wrong. The company told us they would arrive in ten minutes. After 30 minutes we call back and the technician says "hes almost there, we will give you a discount for the wait" Another 30 minutes pass and we call and she says hes 5 minutes out.

After an hour and a half total wait time, a grumpy guy pulls up and we show him to our car. It takes him literally two minutes to unlock the car, all he had to do was pump up an air bag and then slide a hanger in to pop the lock. Then he charges us 80 dollars. 80 DOLLARS FOR THAT?! They must be bad at numbers. by 15 minutes they meant and hour and a half and by $15 they meant $80. NEVER CHOOSE THIS COMPANY!

These guys are not good - first a 'weak' attempt to pick the lock - less than a minute later he was quoting $150 to replace the lock! He ended up taking a vice grip to the door knob and broke the handle and assembly and got me into my office. Guy who installed the door knob style required by the building said "the locksmith (7 Day Locksmith) should have been able to pick this lock", then followed up by saying "the bad locksmiths tell you they have to break the door knob".

Unfortunately, I have lost my car key. I have tried looking for it everywhere but to no avail. I just couldn’t find it and so I gave up. Now I needed someone to help me have a brand new key. At first, I do not have an idea who to call, who to ask for help. I called a friend, remembering he got a remote control key done by a certain automotive locksmith.

I asked for the number of that locksmith and called him. I learned he’s from 7 Day Locksmith. I am ready to wait a week before the key is done but guess what? After two days, I’ve got my brand new key..Really happy. Thank you 7 Day Locksmith.

A middle aged man arrived at home in full uniform and told me he is from 7 Day Locksmith, the one you’ll replace my broken master key. He said after a day or two, I will have my new master key. I just nodded and say okay. But my mind is telling me otherwise. In my head, I was like, “Really? You can do it in a day? I don’t think so.” I did not believe him because I know their locksmith business has a lot of customers and I don’t think they can do the work I asked in a quick manner without asking for additional fee for express work.

But after a day, he came back and handed me the master key and so I could try it. You got me there dude! Nice one. You guys are really great. You are very true to your words. PS. I forgot to mention, very presentable and polite as well.
