The service has expert knowledge. They are friendly. The pricing is reasonable when compared to big box stores. The key copies actually work.

Needed a replacement key fob for my 2015 Dodge Challenger. They were fast and friendly and the $250 price was fair to me. Good place.

I was stuck in a bind. The gentleman I dealt with was quite pleasant and assured me that he could unlock my car. We arrived at my car, and he unlocked it in about a minute. Professional in every way. I would really suggest!

My front door lock broke. It was an older lock style that is no longer made and I needed to repair/replace it quickly. When I brought the lock in, Armor was able to repair it quickly by replacing a broken part for a nominal charge and when I got it home and installed it worked perfectly. Outstanding service.

I've used them in the past as well. This time, I had 3 sets of keys made. It was done quickly, while the staff was very engaging. The keys fit perfectly.

I was having quite a bit of difficulty with a new cylinder I had self installed. I went to Armor Locksmith & Security and Danny educated me on the proper positioning of the new cylinder. He came up with a creative and thoughtful quick fix to help me in the moment. Danny also told me to call or come back before closing if I still needed help and they would be happy to assist me. This is a wonderful little community establishment. I highly recommend it.

I called Armor to get my mothers' deadbolt replaced and they were quick and efficient. Same day service and patient with her, showing her how to use it. And they were safe in their COVID protocols. Would use them again!

If I could have given zero stars, I would have! About a month ago, I called to have someone come and install a lock on my door, at my new apartment. From the first conversation with the person on the other line, I should have decided to go with another business. But in a moment of desperation, I conceded and used them.worst mistake EVER! The locksmith who was sent, Daniel Caputo, was actually very friendly but the job done, was subpar, at best.

Before he began, I showed him the lock that I purchased and asked him if it would suffice.if not, I told him that he could use one of the company's locks and I would happily compensate him for that as well. However, he assured me that the lock was fine and proceeded to install. Not even 5 minutes into the process, he makes a comment about the lock and the door, though I can't remember his exact words.

At that moment, I told him AGAIN, that if my lock was giving him an issue, to USE HIS OWN.He continued on! When he finished, he told me that the lock was not as tight as he would like it to be but it "should be fine." Now, anyone can agree that hearing those words is not reassuring at all. Not even a day later, my key gets jammed in the lock, taking me at least 7 to 10 mins to get in the door.long enough for someone to acost myself and my 3 year old son, if they wanted to.

When I called the company to explain my concern, the director of operations, was very argumentative and nasty, blaming me instead of taking ownership! At the bottom of the receipt slip, the first line of the warranty CLEARLY states that all work is guaranteed for 90 days of installation. This is why I was incredibly confused when I was told that I would have to pay more money for another locksmith to come out, just to investigate what I was saying?! That's absurd!

Probably because I am female because when my father called, the directors whole tone was different! I'm so sick of these crooks taking advantage of people and not standing by their work or their word. There are too many competitors out here, waiting to be utilized, that won't discriminate based on someone's gender or even color. DO NOT USE THEM!

Had to duplicate some keys, this shop is just down the street. Came in with the originals, clerk at the counter informed me about how much each of them would cost. I agreed and he made the copies. Price seemed totally fair and the service only took a few minutes to complete. I was satisfied and would fully recommend this shop.

This is a convenient location with fast service. I showed up later in the morning to get a duplicate of a car key. I didn't have to wait long as I expected, which was very relieving.

It's not close at 7pm. Arrived 6:45pm. Already closed. Wasted my time to drive all the way

Not once, but twice I had appointments with them to come to a property to repair and replace parts at a small residential rental building entrance. Both times they failed to show up. I had originally arranged it in the store and the second one with the actual repairman who was apologetic after the first no show. Unprofessional liars. I've used other services since with much better success.

My husband and I keep losing the remote for our Kia Rondo. We tried ordering a replacement from the dealer and were astonished at the price, but even more astonished at the wait time. We checked out Armor without any referrals and were so very pleasantly surprised. The remote was replaced the following day at less than half of the dealership charge.

It was done quickly and efficiently. Great experience. Unfortunately, we've since lost 2 more remotes and perhaps we should have a long string attached to our belt loops! Each replacement was done exactly as promised for a very reasonable charge. Couldn't be happier with the results. BTW, just lost the latest remote. We're going in tomorrow.

Great Customer Service. My Key was done fast and works great. I highly recommend them to you if you are searching for a place to cut a new key for your car. From this experience, it is safe to assume that they will be great for other kinds of security issues as well. Give them a try. You will definitely want to come back for more.

If I can give a zero or negative star I would. This has got to be one of the worst experiences ever in my life, the cashier with rings all over his face had such an attitude it is amazing how they still have business. I went to the store to make a set of keys, when I entered the place there was nobody on the floor, so I called out for assistance, "Is anyone here", 3 minutes later a man with rings all over his face appeared with a look of disgust, I proceeded to say, " I need a set of keys made" and handed the man the keys, the attitude that followed is unbelieveable, ghetto is an understatement, throwing keys around and after I paid he threw my change all over the counter and gave me stare down that was disturbing.

I will never ever patronize this place again. I will also tell all my friends and neighbors this experience, hopefully they will do the same. A note to the owner, don't hire possible murder suspects and if he is the owner, then go seek some professional help, you really need it. The keys he made was not smooth at all, they all took a little jimmy to get the lock to turn, what a huge disappointment, go to Home Depot, this place is not worth your time.

The Best locksmith in New York the best service and price friendly and professional

Save yourself and your home and don't go to them. I got a high security key card lock from them for $244 just weeks ago. Now when I return home my "high security" lock is unlocked. Someone made a duplicate of my key and breaking into my home. They told me to keep my key card and the only way that someone could make duplicates was to have the card and come to their store and make copies.

I did not ever give my card to anyone. Either they are doing this or they gave my keys to someone other than me who is doing this. Dishonest and untrustworthy for the security of your home.

Call around and the only courteous answers to your locksmith questions come from Armor. Their prices cannot be beat. Their customer service is second to none. I travel past several other locksmiths to go here for the price and the service knocked me off my feet. Andrew and Lorraine are the epitome of customer service professionals. I've used these guys for my home and office and they were great on all occasions. Recently though, one of my car remotes was stolen along with wallet, and these guys provided a new remote along with reprogramming so that the stolen key would be useless to the thief. In and out service, couldn't be happier. Great service and very affordable! You have to be very careful when choosing a locksmith and if you go to Armor, you'll feel secure. I'm always recommending them to my close family and friends.

The 1st Time I was here was to replace the key to my Scion XB, this time I came back to replace to key to my company car San Juan Driving School, I can not complain extremely happy with the service very quick & pleasant I was in & out in 5 minutes.with two keys & remote for a better price than the dealership! The guy Richie that helped me was very knowledgable and courteous. He was able to provide all of the available options for a new car key. I would definitely recommend this place. I live about 20 minutes away but I would go back to this place just because I had such great service. Once the key was made he programmed it to the car which was done quicker than I expected. Also when I called off hours they picked up and said he had to check if they have the key. I left him our number and he called back shortly with his answer.

I don't normally write a recommendation. This place Armor Locksmith & Security on 164 Street on Fresh Meadows, are trust worthy, reliable, friendly, outstanding service, and fairly priced. The owner personally came out to my home. Totally professional, very friendly, great conversation. Great advice on home security throughout, with candid perspective on the wear and tear of our locks. Calling in to schedule the appointment was done with excellence and paying was easy to do. Also, extra time was spent explaining how to secure the windows on first floor.

I am using there service a few time and I got the same technician, who is professional, precise in his approach and personal. His knowledge of more advanced and secure lock options and their installation made me calling and referring friends to this lock smith service. Overall, I loved working with them, felt they were very trustworthy, did a great job, and for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

My 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe FOB stopped working and I did a Google search for a car locksmith. Decided to go with Amor Locksmith & Security since they were closer to my job. Wow is all I can say. For starters, the place is kept clean and staff was really nice. The technician Richard was professional and answered my questions quickly. When he didn't know the answer he called his boss Benny which provided the info. Richard quickly reprogrammed the 2 transponders and also made me an extra door key for the one I've misplaced.

The whole processed took less than 30 minutes. The price, another wow. They advertise 10 to 50 % discount when compared to a dealership doing it but I think it was more the 50%. Nice surprised. If I ever need anything to do with locks (cars or home), I'll definitely use them again. I highly recommend them.

***Update*** I have to update my previous review. I am removing two stars because the key fob that i bought ended up falling apart.literally. The center button fell out and with my luck it rained before i could get to go back to the locksmith. Now my key fob doesn't work and I'm back where i was before buying a new key. Service was definitely 5 stars but i wish the quality of the key fob was better. ***Previous Review*** I own a 2002 BMW 5 series.

This locksmith has been nothing short of amazing. They have made me a replacement key at a reasonable price and when the key stopped working shortly after, they replaced the board in the key free of charge and in a timely manner. I called them 2 weeks before moving into a new house. The staff politely scheduled service, then called a few days prior to the actual appointment to confirm. I was happy already. The locksmiths were prompt and in uniforms. The asses the doors I needed addressed and presented the options. The work was quality and quick. I was satisfied the price was reasonable. I will use them again.

Armor Locksmith's advertisement of 50% off duplicate car keys + programming compared to the car dealership was really enticing. The owner Benny told me that it was going to be a quick and hassle-free process and that it would only take 8-10 minutes. Well something happened and Benny and 2 other locksmiths came to my car and couldn't find out why my car key wasn't programming.

They kept me out of the loop and wouldn't tell me what was going on. After 40 minutes of frustration, I really wanted to leave but they deactivated my original car keys and couldnt even get that one to work. Worst of all, my car alarm wouldn't turn off and it was beeping non-stop for a good 30 minutes. They were constantly calling other people on their phones to get advice on how to fix my car.

So at the end, we found out that they were programming my car the wrong way because they didnt realize that my car was a hybrid. Afterward, they were able to get my key to work but my checked engine lights were on and my VDC lights wouldnt turn off. They were going to take out my battery and start experimenting with it, but then their mechanic friend advise them not to do so and send me over to them.

We were finally able to resolve everything but I was scared that they messed up my car and I missed a morning appointment. I guess you get what you pay for at the end of the day. Next time, I might consider going to the car dealership and spend more money just to have the ease of mind. The whole process took 1.5 hour. Come if you have a regular car but Hybrid owners. Make sure you tell them it's a Hybrid or you'll most likely go through the same situation I did. I rather go to an expert for future reference.

Not even sure how I locked myself out my house, but these things do happen. I got their number from a friend who has used them in the past and recommended them as decently priced and good service. They came very quickly, which i totally appreciated b/c it was quite cold out. The guy was really nice and didn't make fun of me for locking myself out, he said it happens to people all the time, and that if it wasn't for people like me he'd be out of business. Only took him a few minutes to get me back into my house. I really hope not lock myself out again but if i do at least now I have them saved in my phone.

Honest and quick! I visited this locksmith to make copies of my dad's keys. Apparently there was a guy at the store, and he told me that a few keys were the same which I obviously did not noticed. Honesty! Key making was quick too. I would visit this store again when I need. :
