Our History Report

L.H. Webb paid $600 for the Central Key & Safe Co. in 1922. The shop had been a thriving Wichita business at the northwest corner of Second and Market Streets since 1903, and Webb operated his business at the location until his heath in 1946. At that time, ownership passed to his four daughters, Norma Keller, Dorothy Sudnor, Ruby Trice & Margaret Phelps.

Really nice guys. Got the job done as fast as possible. Considering the mess the lock was in, it wasn't a quick fix. I was impressed by their professionalism. I don't see many people in jobs where a little or alot of mess is made in the customer's home and the workmen clean up behind themselves. They did and it was appreciated. Thanks, job well done.

Very disappointed in this company. One of your employees Larry I think is a reckless driver and could've killed someone on the road. After an altercation with a female who he hit in the face with a can, he decided to drive reverse, almost run her over, and reversed into oncoming traffic to avoid her getting his tag number. Absolutely unacceptable. Despicable. Save your dollars and go to Douglas Key Company on Washington.

This is our 3rd time using Central Lock & Key and they DO NOT disappoint! Shane & Rod exceeded my expectations. (These days true customer srvc is a thing of the past, unfortunately. BUT, not wth these guys!) Quick service and way less expensive than a car dealership. Becky was super helpful and efficient! My car fob broke and they put a new case on it, instead of replacing the whole thing. Works perfect and way cheaper than replacing it with a new fob. Highly recommended!
