Called for a car lockout and he arrived very quickly for a busy time of day. Extremely friendly both over the phone and even more in person. I felt very safe and happy with the speedy service. I've used other third-party services in the past where they over-charge AND damaged my vehicle. None of the sorts from this place. Very very professional. Needless to say they're saved in my contacts now!

Evan helped us with our front door and was great! Communicative when the job before us took some extra time, arrived when we said, did quick work and solved the problem.

I locked my keys in my car, they estimated about 30-40 minutes, and my technician was there in 15-20 minutes! Very fair prices compared to other places I have experienced, and very quick service for my lockout! I would highly recommend Carl Jarl!

Outstanding service! I cannot give carl jarl and Evan, the technician that came out to help me, enough thanks and praise! It was a typical day at work and while at a clients house, I locked my keys in my running car. Just wait, it gets better! I locked my phone and wallet in the car as-well. Luckily enough my client had Carl Jarls business card handy and let me use her phone.

They answered right away and told me Evan would be right over to get me back in my vehicle and on with my busy day. The relief that washed over me when I saw the Carl Jarl service vehicle pull up was immense. Evan got to me within 20 minutes of my original call, even sooner than the expected wait time. Evan took no more than 60 seconds to access my vehicle and have me on my way. My experience was fast, friendly, and professional. I would recommend Carl Jarl to absolute anyone. I already have another appointment with them to update my home security!

Ryan was super helpful and my families knight and shining armor yesterday. Our doors we locked so we couldn't feed our pets and he let us in within 10 seconds of getting there. Ryan was so appreciative and genuinely loves his job that helps others, if only their were more people like this.

Great! My kids locked my keys in the car (the ones they aren't supposed to be able to lock in the car). Carl Jarl came within 45 min of calling and was extremely reasonable on price! The guy who came was very polite and a joy to chat with. THANK YOU for saving the day!

I went to get a couple of duplicate keys made for my mom's car. I considered going to a hardware store or Walmart but I've rarely been satisfied with their work. It was refreshing to see a busy and knowledgeable staff eager to help. I was out of the door in less than 5 minutes with two keys that worked perfectly.

Evan was great, while here he noticed my front door lock was loose. This lock has been that way for a long time and it was irritating but we had just gotten use to it being that way. Fortunately Evan spotted it right away and it now works like new. He also did a great job on the safe and the dead bolt of another door. Will definitely call them if needed in the future!

I can't imagine using another locksmith. Great price, very professional, but still friendly. Highly recommend Carl Jarl to both people and businesses. The guys at the shop have been very helpful on multiple occasions, especially since I didn't know anything about safes.

Was suggested to go here from Ace Hardware as they make double sided keys. Had 2 keys made for our car topper. Got home and neither key worked. When I called and told the employee he suggested I was probably putting the double sided key in wrong! My husband was there by me and assured the gentleman we were in fact not doing that. They said we could bring the keys back Monday(this was a Fri) to get them recut. I told them we were in fact leaving Sat and needed the keys then. He said they closed in 5 minutes. Poor service.

They made five keys and they were perfect.as usual! I noticed they had batteries that would work in my extra garage door opener that hasn't worked in years. I had previously taken this opener to a well known Omaha garage door service to have it checked out & have the battery replaced. They told me it didn't need a battery replacement & the opener checked out fine. Well, it still didn't work! The chap at Carl Jarl installed a new battery. Wished me luck with it. And bingo, it works like a charm!

The guys who work here really know their locks. The store has an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere.

Outstanding service. I had locked myself out of my residents and called up Carl Jarl for some help. They are extremely speedy in responding to service calls. I live far away from their shop and they still offered to come out and help me which was amazing because I have huge troubles getting people to come out for various jobs, I'm glad these guys are very customer focused.

The employee I spoke with on the phone said one thing that will stick with me: "It doesn't matter how far away, or what kind of job, we just want to do all that we can to make sure the customer is taken care of." I will definitely be calling these guys any time I am in another pinch. I definitely recommend.

I locked my keys in my car late at night. Called first thing in the morning around 7:00 and never got a call back. Not sure what happened.

Evan came out within 30mins of my call. It was 10p at night. He was fast, professional and even offered to save me a trip to their shop during normal business hours by cutting me a spare key on site. Great response time and very reasonably priced!

I called around to a couple places in Omaha to see if they would allow me to bring in my own key blank to cut, but most retail stores require you to buy their keys. The first locksmith I called had the same policy. After calling at least four places, I called Carl Jarl and the man on the phone said it was no problem and to come on over, even though they were about to close. I arrived and they cut new keys for me in less than 5 minutes. Very friendly and fast service. The key only cost $2. Much appreciated!

Work was done promptly at a reasonable price. Didn't charge for a call when I had bought the wrong hardware. Nick the technician worked hard to make sure everything was adjusted properly. Installed a door latch that previous owner had put on backwards. Recommended!

What a wonderful experience! My husband and I just moved into our first house. We decided that it would be important to get the locks changed. I called five different places in Omaha. The one that was the most helpful, friendly, informative, and straight to the point was Carl Jarl. They had great customer service over the phone! Then they came the next day to replace the locks.

The employee was an experienced man who knew exactly what he was doing. He was very friendly and did an amazing job! If we ever need to replace our locks again, I will not hesitate to call Carl Jarl. I would also recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful locksmith.

We called Carl Jarl in Omaha to have the locks changed on my mother's home. Nice enough man answered the phone and took the order. When Rick called to schedule the work he was rude and condescending to the point of being obnoxious. We called another locksmith, scheduled with them and called Carl Jarl to cancel. They might be a long time Omaha company, but their business will suffer with if their customer service is as poor as Rick's.

Small industrial strip mall store. Pretty old looking inside with guns and big safes and deer heads on the wall and such. Might creep some people out. It's easy to get in and out of and get keys-though I ran them out of stock on a recent visit. You aren't going to get a lot of smiles and happy talk from the staff here-but they get you in and out fine and I have never had a key not work that was made here.

I thought this place was the "go to" locksmith in Omaha, NE but apparently I was mistaken. I brought in three key blanks to be cut (I had the "key code" which tells the locksmith exactly how to cut the key) but they weren't able to help. The guy behind the counter said in order to cut the key with the code it would be $25.00 per key and he could not guarantee that they would work.

He also refused to cut one of my titanium key blanks saying that it "would ruin his machine" so that was that. Interestingly enough I just hopped on the old smartphone and found another locksmith nearby who not only cut the keys (even the titanium one) with NO problems but only charged me 10.00 for all three! You fail Carl Jarl, you fail.
