Great local company that has been established in Reno for years. Friendly knowledgeable staff, I would highly recommend this company to anybody looking for an honest local locksmith.

He was able to make me a key for my 1979 Yamaha DT175 without having to order. Really cool, fast, and friendly.

Definitely 5 stars customer service and welling to take an extra mile to assist. I needed to order 250 blank keys, Michael was very helpful and assist me in placing my order quickly. Kudo!

Dunseath used to be our go to company for locks and keys. Unfortunately, their customer service has deteriorated. It took them almost a week to get back to me with an answer and when I told them I went with another company - they hung up on me.

I CANNOT say enough great things about this company! As a business owner, I have to fire people who have keys, access to my business. All I do is call these guys and they come out the same day. They're protecting my business which is HUGE with me. When they come out? No matter how many months pass by, they know EXACTLY what to do. I don't have to babysit, and they are SUPER efficient. Brian is AWESOME.

He just gets it. Even when I ask for something that he's not used to doing, like billing, I STILL get what I need in a timely manner. This company and their employees are all about respect, kindness, and resolutions. No matter what your situation. I have them on speed dial and won't go anywhere else. They really take the time to do a great job and offer proactive advice, which is priceless. I appreciate all their hard work and we're a forever customer.

I have been going to Dunseath Key since moving to Reno in 1963. They are by far the most reliable, courteous, straight up company of any kind I've been associated with in all that time. The do what they say and always come through as promised. There is no business in Reno I would give a higher recommendation than Dunseath. I hope they remain in business as long as I'm alive. Really nice people who do as promised. I purchased a fire safe from them which they delivered and installed as promised. The wife of the owner, Bonnie Sue, was just wonderful and very friendly on the phone. Her husband and a colleague delivered and installed the safe. and were very careful with my white carpets. Just really nice and genuinely good people.

Arrived in Reno with ski gear in the Thule roof box and keys at home. REI recommended I contact Dunseath and was not disappointed! For a very reasonable price, they looked up the code marked on the lock core and within 5 minutes we were on our way to the slopes! Excellent service!

Easy to work with and they ensured access was verified in accordance with current laws, etc. I always appreciate it when companies are ethical enough to follow rules established for everyone's best interest and safety. They showed up as soon as possible and did what we asked.

Can't say great enough things about Dunseath Key Company! My dad was in the locksmith profession 20 years ago and now will only go to these guys in Reno. We've had countless good experiences with them and there's no doubt they will always do a good job. Their customer service is very classically no-frills (in a good way!). Very friendly and helpful but not at all in your face or overdone.

My last encounter was changing 5 locks and creating 25 numbered keys. It took Brian all of 8 minutes total, was a very decent price, and he even taught me a bit about keysmithing while doing it. We will only do business with these guys and I highly recommend going to them first.

What a great company! These people are the real deal and true locksmiths. They provide honest quality work with regular locks and also electronic access as well. I came for both and they delivered. I had some problems with the software and they fixed it right up and trained me up as well so it worked. It has been a long time since I have been to such a nice place where integrity, honesty and respect for the customer is the first job they do before anything else.

I recommend them without hesitation and they are the only locksmiths I will go to as long as I live in northern Nevada! Visit them for your locksmith needs and you won't regret it!

I have done business with Dunseath Key for many years, and they're simply the best. Duplicate keys work first time with no problems, unlike keys made at Lowes or Home Depot, which are kind of hit and miss. Dunseath's a little hard to find, but worth it!
